Best Gas Grill 2021 - Cuisinart CGG-306 Chef's Style Stainless Review

 Burgers, steak, cut-up chicken, fish (salmon, steel head, halibut), lamb chops, etc.  It's a fairly decent grill when used in an open-lid configuration but in a closed-lid configuration it fails. The grill simply lacks the ability to give you a useful range of temperature control that a person needs to cook anything worth a darn. This lack of heat control makes using the grill with the lid down almost impossible

Looks Better Than Works

My previous cuisinart grill, same model lasted for 7 years

 I would be happy to pay $20 more for a heavier burner deflector. I can't see this flimsy steel will last long. If I don't return it, my steel plate from the Olympia is about the same size, will need to trim about a quarter inch off to fit and I think it will work better as that is what made the Olympia model so well. I will provide an update and pics if I do this

 The flame deflector is flimsy, thin stainless steel with a slight fold into a tent shape. Most grills have a heavier steel or cast iron plate. I would be happy to pay $20 more for a heavier burner deflector. I can't see this flimsy steel will last long

Very good grill but low isn't low, gets very hot 700+F

This is a super little grill. Very happy with it. It has been my main kitchen equipment while remodeling my kitchen. Have cooked steaks, burgers, hot dogs, pork loin, vegetables -- all good

 2. Temperature control? 4 stars. The low settings still put out a lot of heat, though definitely less. I sometimes use just one of the two burners to get more control

Super grill, if you light it manually

 This metal piece is VERY FLIMSY! Surprised, since the BBQ itself seems well-built. When attempting to fold each pair of legs, these pieces kept bending. I loosened the screws of each pair so they would fold more easily without stressing the metal pieces, but then the legs flop around while BBQ is carried and worse, are not stiff when they are unfolded, causing them to want to fold up when BBQ is set up on a table. I never used the BBQ, but there is a risk of legs folding during usage
