 Let it cool off and then just wipe the excess bits away. This is the cleanest easiest way i've ever made waffles. There was no mess on my counter and i had a really fun time using this appliance.  There are also two lights on the front of the appliance. The red light indicates that the device is warming up or your waffle is baking, and the green light means that the appliance is ready to use or that your waffle is done.  Actually, when i started adding chocolate chips to the batter, that's the one spot where they would find the most chocolate chips. I made breakfast for 10 people this past weekend and i used this waffle maker and it made the entire process really quick and easy. I had a lineup of kids waiting for the next waffle and i think i was finished with breakfast in under 45 minutes. You can use the cuisinart vertical waffle maker for sweet waffles, savory waffles, depending on how you turn the dial from one to five

I did make the batter slightly runnier according to the recipe in the instruction book, so i made those waffles. I usually add chocolate chips, and i didn't do that until the end this time, just because i was kind of trying to see how it would work

 However, the cup they provide is terrible for the purpose it is supposed to be intended for. I mean, since it is a cup for pouring batter into the waffle maker, why would it not have a pour spout on it? Also, I find the machine very messy. If you accidently spill any (easy to do with no pour spout and thick batter), it just drips down the side. I have used this multiple times and there is always some mess to clean up on the side or base of it which is more than with my standard style waffle maker

I have tried this with multiple variations to the batter recipe. It is easy to store this machine because of the way it sits upright.  Let me know it's ready, I like to do it on setting four. We have this preheating so that when I go to make the waffles it's all ready to use, so let me just show you how this works. There'S a little, I'm just going to turn this around. So you can see it there's a little lever right here

 So let's check our waffle. How beautifully done it? Is it's exactly the way I like it? I like it to be nice and toasty Brown. Now one thing I just want to mention you'll notice on the top: here you have a little bit extra. This is because the batter went up into the pour spout

 We have some coconut powder, coconut flour, sorry and that's going to help. Keep the mixture nice and firm. We'Ve got some almond milk, that's a big mix, isn't it? Okay, so once you've made your waffles you're going to want to clean your vertical waffle maker and they do recommend that you just use a bit of towel or a cloth to gently wipe down the surface surfaces so as with any electrical unit. Obviously you can't submerge it in water, so that does make it a little bit more difficult, but that doesn't matter whether it's vertical or flat you're going to have the same issues so with your paper. Towel give that a wipe through okay, that's fairly straightforward with this

 So first thing: let's make our mix. This is a gluten-free paleo mix. As i said, i'm going to start i'm going to mix it in the blender just for ease and it doesn't basically throw everything in and whizz it up. But i will tell you that if you want to avoid the mix sticking to the bottom and the edges get your oil, which we're going to put in first and just kind of let it kiss all the sides so that it's coating

It'S apparently non-stick, but i still use a cooking spray anyway, just in case to save the hassle and so yeah i'll, basically be showing you guys with a plain, simple um, uh, krusty's, belgian waffle mix.  Shout out to my friend alyssa for recommending this, so here we go all right, so this is obviously my mix here, it's not like a huge hassle. If i'm doing like an actual this review for this one, it's probably we only, i think that's the only waffle mix we've used with this waffle maker. So i'd say it's pretty good up until now. So i'm just going to gently add this to my cup
