I love my Darto n.27 Paella pan and use it as my main cooking skillet and use it for everything from crepes to burgers to stir fries. I bought the paella pan because the skillet with the long handle is too heavy for me to lift when its filled with food and I contacted their customer service and they suggested that I go with the paella pan for more comfort when handling.

Actually, the Darto n.27 was *just* slightly too big to cook with on my grill. Guess I’ll need one of the paella pans for that.

Had been lurking in here for a little bit and had to pull the trigger when Darto had their free shipping offer. After the first cook with this, I can already tell I will never look back.

I own the Darto N25 and N27 pans. They are great for certain jobs, but for high heat searing I prefer my De Buyer Mineral B Pro pans with the stainless steel handles. The De Buyer Mineral B Pro shape is better for high heat searing since the flared sides make it easier for steam to escape from the pan. You can also flip and jump sauté stuff better with that pan shape

 I love them both. I’ve also got a large Lodge CI skillet but I’m struggling to see the benefit of keeping hold of it now I’ve got my CS pans.

I had a hard time resisting buying multiple pans from Darto.  I'm still very impressed with their super fast shipping.

Ordered an n27 paella, n25 saute, and a tiny n15 paella last week and they just arrived today. Everything looks pretty good to me. The n25 has a couple of nicks along the edge. I assume it's fine for me to file them down with a metal file and them smooth it out with some higher grit sandpaper? 

I remember someone mentioning that they filed down the edges of the handle...this seems like a good idea to me. Just want to be sure I won't hurt anything...99% sure it's fine, but intro to material sciences was a looooong time ago.
