 We had to put it back together here and then we'll slice up a few things. So first, i'm going to slice up a zucchini now. The one con about this mandolin here is that you can't do the horizontal slices, so, if you're looking for those really long thin slices this one's just not going to do it for you, you'll have to use a traditional mandolin for that works, pretty well uniform slices. I'M gon na go ahead and make them a little bit thinner only a lot faster than you would do with a knife

The chute is smaller than it looks

 I bought this one and used it last night. I'm absolutely AMAZED by how easy it was to set up and use!! I even changed the thickness without problems. I felt SO much safer with the gravity feed and it was quick! I actually sliced way more than I meant to because it was so quick to do. and SO simple to clean up afterwards

My son recently discovered air fryer potato chips and I was using an ancient (like 20 yrs old likely) slicer from a company that sells kitchen products at home parties. It was the type that lay across a bowl and caused anxiety to use. I bought this one and used it last night. I'm absolutely AMAZED by how easy it was to set up and use!! I even changed the thickness without problems

  I will probably design a bigger chute with the angle I want and then 3d print it myself. The slicer works just fine though.

This is an awesome tool for the kitchen. I have easily cut myself on other kitchen mandolines before, but you would have to work hard to cut yourself on this one. Cleanup is a breeze. I just wish there was a better way to store the slicer - I put it in a sturdy plastic grocery bag to keep the parts together, and it would be nice if it came with a small holder for all of the pieces, so that's why I didn't give it 5 stars

  Suggestion for improvement: It would be nice if there were measurement markings on the container that catches the vegetables.  Other than that, I am very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it.

One of the best kitchen gadgets I have purchased! It has certainly cut down on meal prep time, and there are no worries about getting your fingers scraped or cut. I also like that there are suction cups on the bottom that keep it steadily in place.
