Just picked up an LG C1 a few weeks ago and absolutely loving it but feel like my movie and gaming experience could be put on another level with a decent soundbar!

Would love if anyone had any good recommendations for a decent soundbar around the $300-500 mark? Could go a bit higher if it's really worth the jump.

Soundbar recommendations

Sound quality wise this makes our BOSE 300 sound bar pale in comparison. Aesthetically, we were not a fan of the strange trapezoid design. The subwoofer is quite large and does provide loud base. The Subwoofer paneling is cheaply applied to the side and began to peel slightly upon first trying to position the subwoofer

 We're not a fan that when controlling the sound that it only increases in increments on 2; for example it goes from 22 to 24 to 26, etc.  The remote is more like a TV remote. It's large and bulky - it's actually thicker than our TV remote. I do like that it has the dialogue button on it, though, and I can switch between the night mode and day mode LED lights

 It tried to have us download a different application. So we reached out to support, which took almost 4 days to hear back on. This seems to be their first sound bar that uses the HEOS app.  We also wish it has a speaker to utilize with ALEXA or GOOGLE HOME

I'm planning on buying a CX/C1 during black Friday and a series x, ps5 too and need a soundbar to fit under my TV.

Don't really have a price limit but some soundbar prices in my country are ridiculous (sennheiser ambeo goes for \~4k usd here) so lets say \~1k usd but I can stretch it higher if I think its worth it for me.

Basically since my room isn't symmetrical and I plan on placing my TV next to the wall I wont have space for side firing speakers, so bars like 950a are out.

Don't know if I can get surround satellites since they'll have to sit on the sofa itself and I have no room behind it. If you think I can still benefit from them even though they wont be at ear level etc then I'll consider getting a soundbar packaged with them.

I was kind of looking at the klipsch cinema series but heard it has issues with EQ etc.

I added some simple schematics to get a feel for what my living room is like. The 1.45m is from the wall until the door, so the soundbar has to fit in that space.

Need a soundbar recommendation for series x and cx/c1 TV.

 If it was not for the price, I would have this at 5 stars.  Setup: -This was super easy, plug it into the HDMI port on my TV (the one with ARC), plug that into the sound bar. Then plug both the soundbar and wireless sub into a wall outlet. That's it

 When you receive it, the box looks huge, but when you open it up, you'll see that half of the space inside is foam or air and meant to keep the delivery folks from accidentally damaging anything. 4) Size: The subwoofer is abotu the same size as the POLK one it was replacing, but the soundbar is legitimately half of the size and I can't hear any compromises on sound quality. it's great to reclaim some of that space on the mantle and also not be looking at a huge soundbar all the time.  Overall, I am impressed with the performance, love how it works, and like the system

 So, do pick a simple name for your system so it's easy to tell Alexa what to do.  Use: -First of all , it sounds fantastic, we love it-- but it does have a couple of quirks. 1) On occasion, it doesn't turn on with our TV. Since our TV is supposed to be telling it to turn on, this could be an issue with our TV and not the speakers 2) To verbally tell Alexa to stream music, we have to tell her twice

I'm having a hard time choosing the optimal soundbar:
Note: Im not an audiophile but i do want to enjoy some good bass and high quality sound.
1. My default choice is samsung hw-q70t, but i heard the subwoofer isn't good(?).
2. Samsung hw-q800t. What do you think about it? Its almost twice the price of the previous one
3. Bose soundbar 500 + Bass module 500 which cost more than twice the price of q70r

Is q70t's bass that bad? What is the best value for money? What do you suggest?

Whats the recommanded soundbar for 65RU8000?

 There are times that the system won't even turn on and it's very frustrating. We were on the verge of returning when it started to seem like it was syncing better. There is usually a 2-3 second delay when starting a new show, but if you can get past that then this system is probably for you. The only other complaint is that the sound is not adaptive to each program - for example our TV auto adjusts sound based on different programs so that sound remains even (not loud, quiet, loud, quiet)

The speaker has great sound and was reasonable priced. Our biggest dilemna was that the speaker doesn't seem to always sync appropriately to our TV. There are times that the system won't even turn on and it's very frustrating. We were on the verge of returning when it started to seem like it was syncing better
