 Now this new one, Infinissime, is definitely not fresh. This to me comes across as an oriental floral. So there's sandalwood in here, I get the sandalwood, this pink pepper, I get a pepperyness to it and there is tuberose and jasmine as there is in the original, but whereas the original they are a fresh white floral, here they are an oriental deep, quite heavy floral. It definitely has an oriental vibe to it, it feels almost a bit like an Arabic style fragrance and the ylang ylang in there as well is like an oriental style ylang ylang and it doesn't have that fresh melon or that fresh pear

 So when I was a sort of young teenager, this is what she was wearing. So I'm very familiar with it and I find it a pretty feminine, womanly smell. So this new one that's just come out, Infinissimi and the branding says J'adore infinitely woman. So I think it's all about sort of female positivity

 I decided not to purchase it because well I've got too many perfumes and I didn't think it was going to be one I was going to love. But I have it here on my arm. So my impressions of this are that it is very interesting and I think the first thing to note is it's completely different to Original J'adore. So Original J'adore is a nice floral lily of the valley, jasmine, but then it has fresh pear, it has fresh melon, it's a very fresh floral daytime, pretty floral

 I noticed that they have put like blood orange in and also some bergamot. Personally I can't smell either of those, I don't smell any fresh citrusy smells at all, I just immediately got this oriental tuberose jasmine. I have to say I am impressed with the lasting power, I can really smell it on me without having to try and like sniff my arm where it is and I'd only sprayed one spray, so it does feel quite strong and it's lasting quite well. So I think from comparing it to original J'adore, which I actually sprayed on my other arm, I can't really smell it anymore, so that is a really big difference to the original

Oddly specific perfume opinions!

 I think one of these has already been discontinued since this set came out and it's the voile de parfum. So who knew that? Now, how much of the Enfleurage extracted tuberose is in this perfume is of course a matter that Dior may keep to themselves. I would imagine that there is some because brands like Dior never outright lie. It's like if they say that there is natural oud in a perfume, yes, there will be natural oud in a perfume

And I thought it may fade but on my skin I couldn’t get past it. I sprayed some on my clothes later and then I was like okay I totally see why people love this. But I could definitely settle for AG Cloud 😅. I find myself just wanting to own a bottle of BR540 because of its fame.

Overhyped Fragrances

 Like, honestly, I really like this scent a lot. I did like the original Jador. I will say that, though, that that one, I'm not sure if it fit my personality. I just found it to be something that I would probably reach for for more special occasions or formal occasions, and I'm not really going to any formal occasions at the moment

 So today I want to talk about the newest fragrance from the house of Dior, this is a flanker of Jador, which I'm sure all of you guys are already familiar with. This is the 2020 release, and it is Eau de Parfum, Jador, Infinite Seam. So the bottle here looks pretty much the same as the rest of the original bottle, the only difference that I can see is that the rings here are separated. Yeah, it's an interesting bottle, it's definitely unique, and I don't own anything that looks anything near like this when it comes to perfume bottles

 It is just, honestly, a beautiful floral perfume. Just perfect. Like, honestly, I really like this scent a lot. I did like the original Jador

 So here we have two beautiful sheep, look at them, they're so cute, it's kind of rainy today so everything's wet. Here we have two alpacas or llamas, I'm not really sure, I can't tell the difference, sorry. Yeah, they're really cute as well. My scent of the day, well I'm testing J'adore Infinicime, the newest flanker from Dior, and I'll let you guys know what I think about it later

This is coming off of the SOTD thread.  I mentioned that I am starting a new job today so I reached for my most inoffensive blind reach fragrance. Dior Homme Eau. Its what I wear when I don't know what to wear and need to be subtle/gentle with my fragrance.

I realized this is what I reach for most often because I don't know what else to wear with a quick decision. Which makes me wonder;

What is your Safe Dumb Reach fragrance that you always go to?

 That's what the bottle looks like in there. So pretty much the same bottle as the other ones in the line. And now on the inside of this card, it tells us a little bit about what this fragrance should smell like. So an endless burst of flowers that diffuse infinitely

 It almost has a similar sort of emotion to me as Long Con Poem. So if you love Long Con Poem, then I would probably give this one a try because to me, although they don't really smell similar at all, I mean, they're both heavy on florals, but they're very different scents. But to me, they give like a similar sort of feeling. There is a sweetness to this fragrance as well

 It's getting a bit sweeter the longer it's on my skin, which is really quite, it's quite nice. I mean it is different to the one I would usually go for, but this is a bit less obviously sweet and I think the sweetness just comes more as it dries down and it melds with your own skin scent I guess. The sandalwood in here is kind of becoming more prominent as well, which is beautiful. I really like sandalwood

 Perhaps it would be. I mean the more it's drying down, the sweeter it's getting actually if I'm honest. It's getting a bit sweeter the longer it's on my skin, which is really quite, it's quite nice. I mean it is different to the one I would usually go for, but this is a bit less obviously sweet and I think the sweetness just comes more as it dries down and it melds with your own skin scent I guess

And, honestly, for the price I like using it for daily use. It gives me the option to try and stay near-ish to my signature scent on the daily without breaking the bank.

I am considering purchasing three fragrances from Dossier:

I am not too fussed on the Dossier fragrances being an *exact* dupe; however, I would like them to be close enough and ideally with good sillage as well.

Has anyone tried the Dossier fragrances?

Here's the odd thing. I can't wear the original J'adore, it smells awful on me. But this is just lovely and seems to suit my skin. I bought it because I got a sample with an order and loved it

 It's floral but not too sweet and dries down to a sort of woody floral. Shows good staying power too. Also, the bottle is very pretty.

The J'adore is one of my signature perfumes - I absolutely love the fragrance and it lasts all day. This perfume came beautifully packaged in a signature Dior parcel too!
