The big DMM is a pleasure to play and explore sounds with while I feel like the H9 is a very capable classic Eventide rack unit harmonizer and multi effect condensed into a pedal format. Midiverb just oozes gooey and characterful reverb tones I have come to love listening to MBV, Stone Roses and Warp records and I'm thinking of selling my Strymon Big Sky as I feel it lacks character and always sounds a little harsh and cold in comparison. Things many people value in pedals nowadays such as pedalboard-friendly compact size or midi presets do not matter so much for me. For instance, with the DMM, I have owned both the smaller XO-version and the bigger version, and I find the larger one to be more fun to play with and more beautiful, leading to actually using it more.

Lots of people use the MXR Carbon Copy and once you get into messing with the settings and finding what works for you, you'll find a way to make it your own. Likewise with the Deluxe Memory Man. That's one of the cooler and more versatile pedals out there. It's got a unique voice to it because of the coloration that the modulation will add to your signal, but it has significantly more possibilities than the Carbon Copy and you can do some really cool and crazy stuff with it.

Electro Harmonix: I like Big Muff pedals, but never really bonded with any EHX ones. The other EHX pedals I owned/tried have just been okay. I wanted to love the POG but just found myself having 5 variations of an organ sound. The Deluxe Memory Man, however, is excellent.
