 For me, that's the way to really complete this guitar, so for sure. I love the casino vibe. It looks awesome, It's comfortable, it has a nice weight, and despite my nitpicking, the Epiphone Casino is unquestionably a well-built guitar and a great value for the money. It compares to guitars that are twice or even three times the price

 If you want to play the beginning of I Feel Fine by The Beatles, this is the right guitar. Cording gets big and chunky sounding, but if you choke it and you keep it under control, the resonance can work for you. So that's the nature of the casino, and if you're okay with that, then you're good. There are massive fans of the casino and there are guys that don't like them

 Under the center of the top of the guitar is a thicker piece of wood to support the top and the bridge. There's also bracing around the edges where the body and the sides are joined to the top. Originally, the casino was available in three finishes: natural like John Lennon's guitar, turquoise, and Sunburst. Like the other Beatles guitars and the guitar that I have this year, there are some warm finish options that are even more affordable

 I was lucky because there weren't many people in the store and I was able to check out both the casinos pretty thoroughly. After a lot of playing and checking it out, I took it up to the counter and bought the one I liked. You really can't ever tell if you like a guitar until you get it home and plug it into your own amp and setup and compare it to the other guitars you have. So here's my current 2022 take on the Epiphone Casino and I'm not gonna hold any punches

The Casino feels lovely to play and sounds great when plugged in. The only thing is that the B string rattles quite a bit.

 I'll be replacing the nut with a bone nut, replacing the tuners to give it a little bit more tuning stability. My budget is around £400 ($600ish) and I am really attracted to semi hollow (or hollow) electric guitars. I've found plenty at the scale I want, but it’s rare for the specs to state body size, and a lot of them look to have a similar body size to my dreadnought. The only option I’ve found so far which is definitely smaller is the Epiphone “Kat" series, but they’re a bit over my budget. Can anyone suggest anything which fits this description, that I'd be likely to get hold of in the UK?

[QUESTION] Smaller size hollow body guitars? (UK)

 It's super nice, it's in a room, it looks really cool, it's got a really nice feel to it, it's super comfortable, it goes all the way back up the neck as well so you've kind of got that really nice satin finish on the back, it doesn't get really greasy and sweaty. It's nice. I think one of the most definitive features of the casino are the P90s. If you're not familiar with P90s but you kind of know a little bit about single coils and humbuckers and how they sound, I guess the best thing to say about a P90 is it's like a single coil if it was supercharged

 I think Ringo is probably the only person that didn't. Keith Richards, Paul Weller, The Edge, just everyone and I think there's a good reason for that. So obviously the main thing that really differentiates this from the casino that Epiphone have already been making for the past few years is that this has got a really cool worn vintage finish. So this is like a faded blue denim, they're also doing an ebony finish and an olive drab green which is one of my favourite Gibson finishes so I'm really excited to see that

The NEW Epiphone Casino | Our Honest Review

 This model was built and finished (poly, not lacquer)  in Japan by Terada (who also make the Gretsch Pro-Line models)  and assembled in Nashville, so it has US parts. It's an excellent guitar that was not expensive.

The electric guitar that I primarily play is a Gibson SG Special. For me the P90 pickup is incomparable, one can get warm clean tones for jazz, a more subtle 50s style (eg Chuck Berry) overdriven sound or heavy distortion just from manipulating the guitar, without external effects and I think that’s great since I play different sorts of music from bebop to rockabilly and country to weirder progressive rock. My one problem with the SG in particular is that I think it’s quite an ugly guitar, I would prefer to play a sunburst or perhaps black Les Paul, but the Les Paul models that I like the look of all have humbuckers, with the exception of the Les Paul Deluxe of the 1970s and early 1980s, which had mini-humbuckers which can swap out with P90s easily. I’m considering buying a Les Paul Deluxe and swapping out the pickups for P90s. However, it seems that Gibson guitars of this era can be problematic, I do own a Gibson acoustic guitar from this era, a 1974 B-25-12 and my very first flat top acoustic was an LG-1 also from the 70s and they’re both really amazing guitars, but I do not know how different the acoustic and electric factory situations were back then, today Gibson in Montana where the acoustic guitars are made and Gibson in Tennessee where the electric guitars are made, are more or less different companies.

So, are they good guitars?

I’m also interested in the Epiphone Casino but I am concerned about the quality of such inexpensive guitars made in an Indonesian sweatshop, I would rather purchase one of those from the 60s which was made in the United States but those guitars are quite expensive because of their association with John Lennon. So, are the Asian made Epiphone Casino guitars of good qualify, or no?

[QUESTION] Are Les Paul Deluxes (1969-1985) good, high quality guitsrs?

At the moment I'm appreciating an Epiphone Casino,  partly for its very light weight.  Also, this particular Casino has US made P90s, which sound great.

What's your most comfortable guitar to play seated?  I've been confined to sitting due to a shoulder injury and I've realized how much  I don't like playing my Les Paul or tele seated due to the sharp angle of the body.  I have a strat that is fantastic.  

I haven't purchased a guitar in about 5 years and decided to treat myself to something while I recover.  

So - what's your favorite guitar to play seated.  Bonus points for contours and thin C necks :-)

So I was able to borrow a friends acoustic guitar, until I buy my own. I wanted to bump up my budget on a guitar so it’s a buy one with no regrets since there was advice that good guitars with build quality don’t start till the $300 range. So I decided I’m gonna double that and just get one good guitar. I made a mistake now that I can’t really decide between two guitars. I’m looking at the Epiphone Casino or the Epiphone Les Paul 60’s. I really like the look of both of these guitars. They both seem to have great quality for the price range. But they’re both very different as far as playability since ones a hollow electric and the other is a solid body. I don’t care about the $150 price difference. I just want to get one good guitar and have no buyers remorse. Love some input.

 Buying a guitar to mainly play classic rock on Rocksmith Remastered. Got a powerful PC and a Focusrite Solo 3 AMP. This would be my first guitar.

I was looking at the Fender Squier Affinity Series Stratocaster HSS Pack LRL in Charcoal Frost Metallic. Could you guys give me further suggestions? I am fine with spending more.
