Given the resolution, I’d go for 65-80 inches anyway, in which case, it’s a wonderful little machine. I also own the Asus F1 in another property and I would recommend the Epson as the colors feel more realistic.

You can pull the 4 corners and it takes seconds and is the best screen adjust system I have ever seen, this is coming from a guy that owned several JVC, Sony and Epson projectors. I am shocked at how good this projector is and the sharpnessis insane. I wanted to share it with you guys so that I can get your opinion if you owned it and possibly make your buying choice easier if you decided to get one because I was struggling to find one. I looked at the Epson TW9400 before this but I didn't bother buying it.

For your situation i will stick to large TV cause you will not be happy with projected image. Im watching movies on screen for 12 years, come from 720p projector low contrast, to 1080p Benq, Optoma and Epson projectors looking for descent picture quality in reasonable price range around 1000$ and than lastly jumped on 4k Tw9400 Epson on 135" screen 2.35:1 cinemascope screen, totaly painted dark grey room, and i can say that only last option is what i want from beginning, nice crisp contrasty image, but my whole current setup is around 6k including PJ, Screen, sound sistem, AV reciever etc.... Nice home cinema and low cost does not mix well :).

The crackling seems to be layered on top of the audio, as the voices and sound underneath sound fine. I have my projector connected to a soundbar via bluetooth (not ideal I know), which works fine when using the firestick. In general it seems to be just a poor connection of sorts, the screen will flicker on and off a few times before it properly connects, it will lose video signal entirely from time to time, and the audio crackles, but I can't figure out what the source is.
