The x15 mouse is e-waste. The scroll wheel started acting up after two months of use, and if you check evga’s forums or Amazon’s reviews you will find out that this is a very common issue. The fix is to flip the mouse upside down and scroll vigorously for a couple seconds, but this only alleviates the problem for like 15 minutes. [Here’s a week old thread about the same thing.

Although I'm not a fan of the weight and aesthetics of these mice, I can absolutely appreciate their addition of a tilt wheel and 8000Hz polling (although we've yet to see how well it's been implemented). Curiously, the X15 is by far the most interesting to me based on initial impressions (although release is TBD). That button arrangement has incredible potential.

Good 12-button mouse?

If you hit the shift button you can effectively double your inputs if you want but you can also turn off the shift function with a switch on the bottom. I've had the Naga X and it's definitely the most modern with its light weight but as I only use these mice for MMO games I prefer the EVGA. The X15 has optical switches and even 8000hz polling but it's look and weight remind me of mice 10 years ago.

Evga x15 is a good budget one with lots of buttons too. Unless you need sometime light, you can probably find what you're looking for from them.
