 I've never found these egg shapes to be that great for fingertip grip though although you can do it. Overall I'm digging the shape of the mouse, the feel of the mouse in the hand so I got to give it to them. They did a good job. They will allow you to change the DPI steps, the lift off distance, the debouncing and so on and so forth

 Now the hump in the middle makes it possible to palm grip this mouse but your fingers are most likely going to hang over the edge unless you have really really small hands. Now this small butt diamond shape fits nicely into the back of your hand for claw grip which I think is the best grip for this mouse. I've never found these egg shapes to be that great for fingertip grip though although you can do it. Overall I'm digging the shape of the mouse, the feel of the mouse in the hand so I got to give it to them

 I love that this one is smack dab in the middle of the mouse. This was a huge point against the Orochi V2 and Fantech has stepped in and fixed it before Razer could release the V3. And because of that it's going to be much easier to transition to this mouse and get used to it over the Orochi V2. So if you love the Orochi V2 you're going to love this mouse to say the least, at least shape wise

THE BEST EGG SHAPED MOUSE EVER?

 Also in that software, software is quite simple, but easy to navigate, you giving you all the options you would want, like lift off distance, holding rate, macros, debounce and the ability to remap all those buttons. You can find the Phantek Aria XZ7 for around $80. And though it's more expensive than some of its egg shaped counterparts, like the G305 and Orochi, I think that price bump is definitely well warranted, giving you some of the top line features in a well built out mouse, having again, great quality switches, sensor, those three connectivity modes. For me personally, I'm just not a big fan of the egg shape in general, but if you are someone who likes it, or maybe finds the Orochi just a little bit too small, like myself, the XZ7 provides that nice bump up in size, making it much more comfortable for me to use, especially with that close out grip, which I do prefer, and having just a slightly larger frame overall, makes it feel really comfortable for that

 The other shell is a honeycomb one, which does save you a few grams of weight, but for me personally, it's not worth feeling those honeycomb holes in my hand, and I would just rather have that solid back shell with a little bit more weight. You get three options for connectivity with two wireless ones with either it being used with that included dongle for that 2.4 gigahertz wireless connection, which so far for me, given me no issues, and that is also with having multiple different wireless devices on my PC at the same time. Then also you have the option of Bluetooth connectivity, which can be good if you're gonna be using it between different PCs, or maybe you wanna take it with you as a travel mouse

 That's when the mouse is gonna be completely off, and then you can use it via that USB-C port on the front wired, which you do have to do also to actually charge the mouse itself. It is advertised though to get all the way up to 27 hours battery life with that 2.4 gigahertz connection, or 54 hours with the Bluetooth. So while it doesn't have the longest battery life, you should be able to use it for multiple days without needing to charge

 The Fantech Aria XD7 aimed to take out its egg shape, brethren with some end game features built into a shape that's familiar from mice like Logitech's G305 and now the Razer Orochi. Shape-wise, it holds onto a lot of characteristics of the Orochi, just overall being a slightly larger version of it, which I do prefer, but it's still gonna lend itself primarily to that fingertip or claw style of grip, just because of its overall size. It does only come in at around 61 grams though, making for very effortless movements, especially in faster paced games. In the box, which is getting the mouse itself, you'll get your dongle for wireless pairing, a dongle adapter for use with it, extra set of mouse skates, back shell without those holes, mouse grips, and then a cable

Fantech Aria XD7 - clicks were nice out of the box, shape is nice. literally a bigger orochi, the mouse came with a spare set of feet and grip tape out of the box. scroll wheel bumps are well pronounced.

 The only thing that might not make this the best mouse for you is probably the shape. Egg shaped mice aren't for everyone, I'd recommend that if you are someone that has a bit more of a squeeze type grip like a palm grip it's probably best to avoid this mouse as I just don't think it would be comfortable. I've used it as a fingertip claw grip hybrid myself personally and it's been amazing. I'm not a natural user of that grip type so I do end up going back to palm grip and that's when the discomfort can sometimes kick in but that's after a few hours

 So if the shape does entice you this might be one of the best mice you could probably get. The price of around $100 is incredible, the build quality is up to standard, with the switches being great around the whole mouse as well it just keeps on impressing with the effort that has gone into this mouse. They could have charged a lot more considering the internal hardware as well but here we are it's a reasonable price for a fantastic mouse. You'd be a fool to not pick this up

 I've used it as a fingertip claw grip hybrid myself personally and it's been amazing. I'm not a natural user of that grip type so I do end up going back to palm grip and that's when the discomfort can sometimes kick in but that's after a few hours. But when I'm not squeezing it like some caveman it's been an incredible mouse to use in game. I cannot honestly fault any of it at all

 That's not to say that those that palm grip their mice won't be able to use this, as this one is a bit bigger than other egg-shaped mice, sitting at around about 114mm long, 65mm wide and 39mm tall. Because of these dimensions, it might be a little bit more accommodating, but Fantech say this is for fingertip or claw grip, so let's just focus on that for now. Oh, and it's also a little bit lighter than some of the other eggs, with it being just 59 grams. The main curve is quite flat, meaning there's going to be less chance of it coming into contact with your hand for those that find such a thing repulsive

The Aria XD7 might be the best mouse of 2022

I was wondering if any of you own 2 mice or more of notable weight differences and if it's something you find bothersome or not. Is a 20-30 gram weight difference hard to adjust to or is it not a big deal.

Been lurking on this sub this last week and I've finally settled on most likely getting the Pulsar Xlite v2 (or maybe x2 instead) and the deathadder v2 x hyperspeed. One is in that 60g arena and the other is in the high or mid 80gs with a AAA battery. I'd like to have one rechargeable mouse and another that can be given a full charge instantly by switching out batteries. But I can't tell if the 25-30g difference will be super bothersome in practice or hard to adapt too. 

Anyone who owns multiple mice with large weight differences, how is that experience overall? And as a secondary question, if the mice have an overall quality difference, is it also bothersome to go back and forth?

My hand size is 19*9. As the tile says, could someone possibly recommend a mouse that would suit my grip.

I think I hold my mouse weird and don’t like it resting in my palm, I tend to hold it off at an angle. My previous mouses have been the G502 and before that the Corsair M65 so both similar mouses. 

I’m wanting to take the route of a lighter mouse as I do much prefer the feel, I love the lightness of the G303SE but I don’t think it’s suiting me much. I’ve been considering the superlight but I’m not sure how that would play with me and my holding posture. Just hoping someone could possibly shed some light on what you think would suit me :)

Looking to get a new mouse &amp; wanted to see what y’all would recommend. I have 17.5x10cm hands, and will put a list of mice that I’ve used &amp; enjoyed so far. My grip usually starts as aggressive claw, but as I start playing I fall into more of a fingertip grip. 

G305 - the mouse I mained the longest, only switched from it because I wanted a rechargeable mouse. i love the grip I get on this mouse, it’s practically perfect size for me. I still use this mouse for work. 

GPX - my main now, it’s just a little big/bulky for fingertip for my hand size (and my scroll wheel is damaged)

EC3-C - didn’t really fingertip this mouse at all but very comfortable shape for me, had some annoying QC issues with my copy &amp; broke the scroll wheel, only lasted me a couple months

XLite V1 - amazing mouse, again didnt really fingertip this one as it is a little big for my hands. the front-heaviness bugged me, as well as all the cutouts on the sides, lost the dongle as well so I cant use it anymore

Xm1r - my most recent purchase, a little too low profile for me &amp; the back is very wide and is uncomfortable for me to grip
