 This is by design, unfortunately. There is a push to make appliances more energy-efficient. Efficiency is good, but there are tradeoffs. I like saving money on water and electricity, but a dishwasher still needs to be able to do its job

This works well for me. Looks like some people don't like it, but that's okay.  This gets my dishes clean. Only rarely have I needed to rewash something, and only because of baked-on nastiness that requires scrubbing

Does the job, and well.

I just bought a Black & Decker countertop dishwasher and as for many, saw people making plenty of complaints about dishes not getting clean, having spots, blah blah blah; you know, all that discouraging stuff that'll have you hand washing dishes on your deathbed🙄 Anywho, when searching detergents, I came across Finish brand that also has an additive "specifically for spots" and figured "What the heck!" Long story short, the dishwasher itself even has a compartment for the additive so for anyone having this issue with your dishes, NO. Its NOT the dishwasher and probably not even the detergent itself! You NEED to put that additive in your dishwasher just as the instructions suggest. Anywho, this brand worked out perfectly for me and now, it'll be my go to. I definitely recommend the product and so long as it's used as instructed, everyone can have clean, spotless dishes right out of the washer😊👍🏾

I came across this (never heard of it before) and thought I'd try it based on the reviews. After using it one time, suddenly our dishes came out fine - clean as a whistle

Finish quantum is the best dishwashing tab that is on the market it does the best job on the worst dishes that there possibly could be we do a lot of cooking in our grill and in the oven so things get baked on and cake down and I’ll tell you right now we are not big renters of dishes so it just gets put in the dishwasher and it’s all up to the dishwasher tabs and jet dry and Cuanto so if it don’t get it off then nothing well so trust me it works because I don’t buy a lot of dishes I don’t think I’ve ever replace them and they’re still going strong

 With my depression, dishes are one of the things I dread doing and they just pile up and get gross. Judge me, I don't care. These make it so easy to just toss all the dirty dishes in and hit start. My dishwasher is 13 years old and it works great now! These actually cleaned all the old stuff out of the dishwasher itself!  Pro tip, toss it into the bottom of the dishwasher rather than putting it in the detergent cup!
