Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 Review｜Watch Before You Buy in 2020

 Its field of view is a moderate wide-angle, about the same as a 35mm lens on a full-frame camera. To put it in perspective, that's a little tighter than most modern smartphones, which typically boast a wider 25 or 28mm prime as the main lens.

 The Mini 9 isn't the best camera out there for demanding, artistic photographers&mdash;I recommend the Lomography Lomo'Instant Wide and its larger format to shooters with a serious artistic bent, or the Lomo'Instant Automat if you fit that bill and want a smaller camera; they use Instax Wide and Mini, respectively. But if you want an instant camera for family snaps, travel photos, or to capture candid campus moments, the Mini 9 is a solid option. And it's one that falls into the impulse buy price category, making it our Editors' Choice for affordable instant cameras.

 It's a solid addition, as without it the focus is limited to about 2 feet (0.6-meter) to infinity. The small add-on lens looks like it might be easy to lose, but if you're able to hold on to it you can use it to shoot close-up images.

 Outside daytime photos look much better, but the sensor can change between the time you look at it and adjust and the time you hold the camera up to your face which makes for a poor photo. Also remember that what you see through the view finder isn't necessarily what all will be in the actual photo and the closer you are to an object, the blurrier it will be!  It's simple. It's basic. Maybe a bit too basic, especially if you have always known cell phone technology

The Nostalgia Lasted About Five Minutes

 I leave for college soon so I really wanted one so I can take tons of cute little pictures. When I got it, I used up a pack of film taking pictures at the beach and of my cats and selfies, and they only turned out "ok." In comparison to the picture my friend took on her instax 8, they suck. The quality just seems a lot lower; the details and clarity just aren't there

 Some pictures turn out somewhat better than others, but none of them, I would say, are super good. The film is so expensive, I feel like I have wasted my money and picture opportunities. Although the Instax 9 came with a more selfie-friendly update, I think you should use the selfie option as a last resort. I think I will be returning this camera as I think it's just a waste of money for mediocre photos

 You don’t get glare in the photo and they are well defined when they print out! Lastly, they supply you with a close-up lens attachment. (Selfie lens) This helps with taking up close and personal photos of yourself, friends and family. I have used this attachment a lot with taking up close personal photos of my niece as we have playtime.  Overall this is hands down of the best purchases I have made this year

 One of the small downsides is that the camera did not come with Polaroid film and the film tends to run and the pricey side. ($12 for 10 sheets) How I overcame this problem is by just buying in packs from Amazon and it saves you money and is very convenient.  The final thing that I love about this product is the feature’s they supply you with when you purchase it. On the camera itself, they installed 5 different settings for the environment that you are in
