 The oak laminate desktop that i tested is well made and sturdy enough to withstand anything. You can reasonably throw at it paired with the black desk frame. The end result is an understated, yet stylish combo that fits in with most decor. So if you're looking for a feature, packed height, adjustable standing desk on a limited budget, then the fully remi is a fantastic option

 Being able to dial in the perfect sitting height, for example, means that i don't need to rely on a foot rest, and even varying the desk height by a couple of centimeters can be enough to alleviate any built up muscle tension from sitting for too long. On that note, i found that experimenting with different desk heights is really beneficial. If i need to do some quick social media or graphic design work on a tablet, then i now like to lift up the desk into a higher position like a breakfast bar to support. My elbows pairing, the remy, with a saddle chair, like the hawk capisco, will unlock even more options, enabling you to work in a half standing position as well

 And if you have a little more to spend and want something with a bit more flare, you can always upgrade to the bamboo desktop [ Music ]. You 

 There are pre-drilled holes on both sides to help with placement. Here then, secure the control box using the same process and connect the two lifting motors along with the handset, using the included, cables and cable diagram. You can start thinking about cable management here if you like, however, i'd recommend waiting until you have the desk flipped over and all of your computing equipment in place. On that note, the remy weighs just 45 kilograms, or so once assembled

Received in excellent condition, everything was very well packed. Easy to install, everything provided except the screwdriver. If needed, there is an instruction video on Amazon, I watched it first before buying and did not have to read the instructions at all when I received the desk. It was especially useful to 'init' the desk

Have been using the desk for a month as a high school teacher, teaching at home during the pandemic. The desk is flawless. It’s very stable, barely wobbles in motion or at standing height. It was packaged very well and was very easy to put together

 Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to improve their desk experience. Actually bought a second one in white for my wife’s work from home situation!

This Budget-Conscious Standing Desk Is Affordable, Not Cheap

 Customer service was helpful so hopefully getting the power cord within a few days. But the color unfortunately is not great. I wish I had gone for the bamboo. Would have looked better

I was disappointed as the color of the actual desk/top is far more gray than what it looked like on the pictures. It said "oak", but this looks like a light gray finish. The shipment came in 3 different packages at different times, and the power cord was missing. Also, you can't actually fit the control box where it is supposed to go according to the instructions, so you have to screw it in outside of the holes (which was confusing why they had those holes there)

Remy Laminate Top Color is far more gray than I thought

This doesn’t impact the function of the desk, just the one-time build process, but it is perplexingly sloppy. Did nobody actually put this thing together in the rush to get the product out the door?
