I know you can’t get rid of pores but I’m wondering is there anyway to make them smaller? I use La Roche Posay products. They keep my acne mostly at bay but I feel like my pores are just so large. Part of it is genetic, but just wondering if there’s anything else I can do at home to help. Thanks!

Our first indication that something was wrong was when we baked fish for the usual amount of time and it came out like sushi. After that happened several times, i got out the temperature probe and did some serious testing. Without opening the oven door, I found that it took a little over 25 minutes to reach 350. 

 However, in the middle of the oven - where you will place your food, the temperature is not even 200 degrees - much less 350. In fact, the temperature in the middle of the oven will go up very slowly and will not reach 350 for another 15 minutes. 

 The power burner heats up fast and is indeed powerful. The burners seem responsive and consistent. The surface hasn't been too hard to keep clean, using the supplied cleaner. No problems with the range top, so far

 The timer worked as well. We verified range temp with a portable oven thermometer they were consistent within a degree or two.

  The storage drawer; it is weak, doesn't want to stay fully closed.  Much cheaper materials used in this area of the range than my previous Frigidaire.  Oven temperatures are so far all over the place.  My classic recipes are taking longer to bake and the oven indicates it has preheated and is usually 150-200 degrees away from what it was set to

I like the range, great design.

Sometimes I think of this stove as the stove from Hell.  It's beautiful, no doubt about that but it's too sensitive to the slightest touch and that's just one of its shortcomings. It's ridiculous that it didn't come with a manual but I had to request one online so it's hopefully coming.  Just had to have the repair person in to fix the storage drawer which couldn't open properly, it was somehow off the runner

  We bought it because foolish I was intrigued by the Air Fryer.  The GE people that I text with are my saviors and have gotten me through the worst of it.  I would never recommend this stove to the average homeowner.

I love that the controls are in the front and not reaching over hot, steamy pans. I am concerned about the control panel getting wet, doesn't appear to be well sealed. Time will tell. Cook top is not easy to clean using methods recommended

I like the oven, but am not happy with the two large burners. Even on the lowest temperature, food boils. The burners are way too hot when they are set on low. Stove top is very hard to clean

 And, make sure the cooktop is clean before placing pans on it to cook, otherwise moving the cookware back and forth may scratch the surface. No complaints about the bottom drawer not sitting properly or pushing in all the way as others have mentioned. No complaints about a strong odor either. We had a "new stove" odor for about a week, then it was gone

 It has a great seal on the door and brown smoke is not emitted from the back vent. Hurrah! One thing we tested and learned about using the oven's temperature settings. There is a convection bake and a regular bake setting. When using the regular bake setting, the oven does not reach the set temp when the stove chimes telling you the set temp has been reached

So, I've learned that when I want to use regular bake, I set the temp using convection bake, then switch over to regular bake when I'm ready

This is the 4th range we've purchased in 18 years (yes, the 4th). The latest had similar features as this GE, with one exception, everything! The GE range offers both self clean and steam clean features, whereas the other only offered the steam clean, claiming it cleans the whole oven, but does not. The self clean feature on the GE works beautifully, cleans very well and the outside of the oven does not get overly warm; I can touch the stove without having to pull my hand away. No more taking the door off, getting on my knees and scrapping the inside every few weeks
