Looking for recommendations on a stainless steel fridge. We bought our fridge over a year ago and the fridge side hasn't been working properly. It is a Kenmore, we bought this brand because our old one worked really well and we just wanted an update to a stainless. However, the last couple of months have been a nightmare. It's taking 3-4 months now just to fix it. Technicians haven't been able to identify the problem and they keep ordering different parts. In the meantime our food is going bad, can't really store anything new in it, healthy food is out of the question, etc. We gotta do something soon, it's causing us too much money not having a working fridge.  


What fridge brand lately has been a solid buy recently (1-3 years) for you guys?

No extra digital stuff.

Style: At least a 2-in-1. Doesn&#39;t matter if it&#39;s side by side freezer and fridge, or top and bottom.

3) From day one, the ice machine is the loudest I've ever heard, with loud pops and bangs. And it only makes 100 small cubes in 24 hours, so I still had to make "old fashioned" ice for our family. And the ice maker stopped working several months ago.  It still isn't working because I have to wait for a part, which hopefully will be here in a couple of more months

The beautiful:  The light panel in the back of the fridge is one of the smartest features ever.  I like the backs of shelves to be as close to the wall as possible to prevent stuff from falling behind the shelves and these are close. The drink drawer has its own temp, so I keep that at 33 for very cold drinks and deli meats and cheeses. I like that feature a lot

Beautiful but Annoying. . .

 Ice maker doesn't take any space inside the fridge. It'S on the door, easy access to it, so even the water filter really great great place for it. You do have door and door feature which is great to grab the milk drink, quick without really opening the whole fridge. You do have the middle drawer, which is a great to put beverages wine snacks

I know everyone is probably hella tired of this question, but I’m in need of some serious help. I’m in the middle of doing a custom built home so there is decisions slapping me left and right, and picking a fridge has been the death of me. 

I’m not horribly picky, I’d like a water dispenser but it can be an interior one. Ice maker can be in the freezer, no big deal. 

I’ve got a decent budget. I’m willing to spend up to $4000 CAD ($3000 USD), but hoping for more in the $2700-$3000 range. 

What are the recommendations here? If you have a specific model you like, even better!

French Door Fridge Suggestions

Delivery issues
