Wand doesn’t curl or hold curls

I thought I treat myself to a really good curling iron because it was highly rated from a girl on YouTube so I thought I’d give it a try it slipped out of my hand three times as I curled my long hair it’s very slippery the barrel is too short for long hair for $200 it didn’t come with anything special it didn’t do anything different from a $20 curling iron I was shocked at how horrible it was! It shuts off after 25 minutes of usage which took me 25 minutes cause I kept dropping the iron! overall it was a whole big mess I don’t recommend it at all not for $200 I have a conair curling iron that has a longer iron barrel and it did a better job at my hair and it automatically shuts off in 60 minutes!
