 I do not perceive the grand increase in visual field which the reviews have claimed. It has about the same field that my 10 year old sub-$20 Scotts have. For me there is no major perceivable construction difference between these and lower end goggles, in fact I think the foam is thinner and maybe weaker. They fog just like my old goggles

 The first thing we've got to talk about is Giro's EXV. EXV is expansion view, which quite literally has the biggest field of view of a Spheric that's out there, particularly one that's helmet compatible. So, whether you're throwing it in your beanie or helmet, this thing's going to fit, which is cool, and it just means, literally, it's got the biggest field of view where you need it. I mean, huge range

 Absolutely, and then combining that with the Zeiss lens, I mean, the optics in this goggle are incredible. Yeah, field of view is cool, but you've got to be able to see where you're going. And we've got a whole range and host of lens tints for highlight, low-light visibility days, and then with the Spheric taper-corrected lens, perfect optic clarity, I mean, this thing's unreal. Absolutely, and then such a comfortable fit on your face, too

 It literally has begun to become somewhat the benchmark by which all other goggles are measured. You know, there's a ton going on here. The first thing we've got to talk about is Giro's EXV.  The optics are very good and the field of view is excellent with this design as well.

Very good optics

Giro Onset goggles did not conform well to my face. The goggle's convex/spherical lens design caused the goggles to fit tight at my temples while leaving a gap across the bridge of my nose which extended down the sides of my nose to my cheek bones. Tightening the strap did not cure the poor fit.

Great goggles but not for wide glasses. There was plenty of room inside for my glasses, but every time I removed the goggles, my glasses came off with them. Otherwise they were great. I liked the feel of the fleece lined foam, too

Despite the minor disapointement of the "Free Trade Agreement", I am satisfied with this product.

As for fit, the goggle fit perfectly, conforming to the face and has a strong, quality strap and guides; in other words, the strap won't need readjusting after it's been set. I use these goggles with the GIRO Montane Helmet and they fit very well with that helmet, not to mention an nice, stylish, combination. For those that prefer style over comfort, no problem, this combination is style and comfort combined, so no comprimising there!

Red Onset with Amber Rose

I have owned about 20 pair of goggles in my life and these are hands down the best visibility. The Carl Zeiss spherical lenses are excellent - I got the amber-scarlet lens. So far I have used it in snow and partly cloudy conditions and this lens is a great choice. In full bright sun I may invest in the Loden Green lens, but I'm thinking this Amber-Scarlet may be fine
