The best lightweight mouse in the mid-range we've tested is the Glorious Model I. Most lightweight mice are designed for fast-paced FPS gaming, but more ergonomic models well suited for playing a variety of games are starting to appear. This mouse has an ergonomic, right-handed shape similar to popular multi-genre gaming mice, like the Logitech G502 HERO or the Razer Basilisk V3. The big difference is this one is significantly lighter, weighing just shy of 70g, which is about 30g or so lighter than these other models.

This mouse has four side buttons, two of which are magnetic, allowing you to swap them out for differently shaped buttons or remove them entirely if you want. Performance-wise, it has extremely low click latency and excellent overall sensor performance. Unfortunately, unlike most other multi-genre options, its scroll wheel doesn't have left and right tilt inputs or a free-scrolling mode. That said, it's a great option if you prefer an ultra-light version of a more ergonomic mouse with plenty of programmable inputs.

If you're interested in a mouse with even more programmable buttons, the SteelSeries Aerox 9 Wireless is designed for MMO/MOBA gaming. It has a full 12-button side panel and honeycomb-shaped cutouts in its shell to help reduce its weight. That said, it's a higher-priced option without a cheaper wired-only version available.

Some useful things that I want it to do is to Ctrl+click (go to definition in most IDEs) in a single button, back/forward buttons, binding mutliple keystrokes in a single button (Shift+F6 for example). It will be nice if I can have around 4-5 (or more) of these programmable buttons. 

I have looked at Piper with libratbag but not sure if it can do the job, it will be nice if I can use Piper so I'm not vendor-locked into using their customisation software.

Programmable mouse for coding

I really liked everything about this mouse except the size. The plastic is nice, lightweight glide, tracking, buttons and software are all good. The ascended cord is also really nice. However the mouse is simply too small for me to comfortably palm grip like i can with my razer death adder that’s only slightly larger

I like the shape of my FK2 but I dislike the glossy coating because of my sweaty hands. The cable is annoying as hell but wireless mice cost too much right now and I think I'll have to settle for a good wired mouse with a nice cable, because mouse bungees also cost a lot.

How's the Model O Matte and the Mira-M Metallic Blue? There's a discount on those two where I live and I thought it might be the time to upgrade. I know the Model O is basically an FK1, is the size difference between it and the FK2 that big? The FK2 feels small at times but I've gotten so used to it's shape (3 years) that I'm afraid of trying something new.

Need recommendation for a light non-glossy mouse that can fit my grip

A Great Ergonomic Mouse

Best mouse i’ve used. i prefer this over the G502 because of the weight and i don’t like the extra buttons

So my budget was around and under 5k.
And you guys in my previous post suggested some very good mouse. With a mix of your suggestions and my own research I am able to narrow down to some mouse and it would help me a ton if you can answer my few question on them.

1. Cooler Master mm720. - i like it the most among the list. But non of you suggested it. Is it bad? Am I missing some problem it it? And how's the RMA of cooler master product experience.

2. Logitech g502 hero - does it have good sensor? Is it good/bad compared to mm720?

3. Glorious d minus - this is my second fav from the list. I saw people complaining about its software. It is very bad and all. Is that a case and is it a deal breaker?

4. Razer Viper - it's on flipkart. I have heard from you guys Razer from Amazon is easily replaceable while in warrenty. Is it same on flipkart? And is this a good mouse?

5. Razer orochi V2 - I like it and I think I will consider it for next time when I want to buy wireless. Is your personal experience good with it?

This are some mouse I like but if you guys can show me the right direction to make a final decision will be so so helpful.

Which mouse should I finalize?

The media could not be loaded. This is my first “lightweight mouse” and it feels much more natural. The size/shape is perfect, it feels similar to the Razer Mamba I previously had. It feels great, looks great, is super lightweight

 The outer cable material is almost “loose,” with excess length, so it bunches up. To this day, I can’t get the cable to look normal. It always looks twisted or bent/bunched up. Is it a “big deal?” No, just looks, and is, stupid
