This looks how I would imagine a round Apple Watch to look. Looks like a piece of tech and not a watch though. It's also not epaper or controlled by buttons which is a shame.

Love Pixel phones! But overheating..

I just bought a galaxy s10 5G for $300 on eBay. It has 5G capabilities but I think I heard that it only works well on Verizon but I could be wrong. Either way, it’s an amazing phone and it was the last Samsung flagship with a headphone jack. It has 256 or 512 gb of storage but no sd card slot. The camera is also really good. Not bad at all for $300.

just get the pixel 5a, it's about $450. it probably takes the best pictures for a phone in that price range and has about 128gb of storage. pretty large battery too.

Either the Samsung Galaxy A52, or the Pixel 5a. The A52 is $500, and the 5a is $450. What's similar between them is they have a headphone jack, IP67 water resistance, dual speakers, AMOLED screens, 128 gb of internal storage and 6 gb of ram. Both also promise 3 years of OS updates as well. 

There's also a couple differences; most notably with the A52 having an SD card slot, 120 hz refresh rate in its display while the 5a is 60hz, and the 750G processor. (Lesser than the 5a with the 765G, but it's only marginally better) And a slightly smaller battery than the 5a.

The advantages the 5a has is a slightly better processor, better cameras (More than likely, not many comparison videos are out yet), cheaper price and bigger battery.

What's 5g compatible but won't break the bank?

My phone keeps overheating, especially when charging. Battery life not as amazing as I expected. Should have waited for the Pixel 6 to launch in the UK rather than purchasing this from USA.

Xiaomi might be your best bet, but I'm not sure on their availability there in the US. Something like Poco X3 Pro is quite cheap here in Europe and has a flagship SoC, 5160 mAh battery, IPS LCD 120Hz screen. Camera is decent on paper too, but I wouldn't expect much, maybe with GCam.

I think the OnePlus CE is all that however if you're not in a rush to get a new phone I think you would be better served with the pixel 5a that's supposed to come out in August

Not many big battery phones with long support that are decently cheap. Motorola makes a few, the Moto G Power models are pretty decent budget phones with big batteries. (Get the 2020 model if possible, the newer 2021 version is a total downgrade) Or see if your carrier has the Moto One 5G Ace. There's an unlocked version but it's $400. T-mobile has a version for $264. However other carrier models have less storage and ram. (Unlocked and TM models have 128/6 GB of storage and ram while others have 64/4) The 5G Ace has the vastly better processor and camera. 

Samsung has a couple options but their more expensive. The Galaxy A42 has a big battery (5000 mAh, same as the Motorola phones) but a 720p display and 4 gb of ram. It's $350 through Best Buy.

Been looking for a phone that can do it all for not that much and it's been difficult. I'm looking for something that has a good long battery (at least a day or 2),a good screen it doesn't have to be a high refresh rate but if it has it it's fine, decent specs, a good camera, very good software something that gets 12 and maybe 13, 5G ,and it can be unlocked and doesn't matter what brand is it. A cheap all rounder?

I know there are lots of similar posts, but felt like I'd ask anyway about prices and where to buy. I've narrowed my options down to:

1. Samsung S20FE ($450 on amazon renewed)
2. TMobile Oneplus 8 ($387 on amazon)
3. Pixel 5a 5G ($450 + 3 months free on Fi)

My primary uses are webbrowsing and camera (family pics), and I'd like good battery life. I'll probably stick with stock OS.

Are there any other phones I should be considering? Any other places I should be buying from? Is it worth waiting for black Friday?

My budget is $500 max in the US.

I have a nexus 5x that used since 2016, so I'd like something that will last me 5 years.
