If you are shopping for a rooftop cargo carrier on a tight budget and aren't routinely moving long items like skis around, we think the Goplus Rooftop Carrier is a great option.  Alright, here's some more issues, the directions are going to call for the flat hexagon socket cap, there are no hex nuts in here, they're all Phillips nuts and I can't find a single hex cap in there So I'm going to assume they're talking about one of these flat Phillips and not a flat hex Okay, so according to the reviews on Amazon, this rack had some fitment issues for some people and I think I ran into some of those fitment issues. So I'm trying to install this crossbar support right here and on the top side it fits fine, the holes line up, but if you look at the back side, this side fits but if I go over here, I'm off by that much, that's quite significant, so I loosened up the screws that I tightened and if I'm going to get that in, let me show you how far out this comes out, so it's off by a pretty significant amount so I think I'm going to have to do a little bit of rigging to get this thing to fit at all, but I think it will be okay and I have the right tools, so we'll do that. Okay, about to do the next step and as I'm lining up this next step see some more fitment issues, see if this side lines up, we'll go to the front and you'll see that it won't line up so if you line up the front, like we did on that one, you go to the back and see that that won't line up it won't make the hole, so not only when we put in these corner jigs, it was a little bit too narrow for this crossbar well, it's a little bit too long for these bars, so I think I'm going to have to try to do some rigging again and get these things to line up. Alright, I got the basket fully installed and everything screwed up and honestly I was thinking I was going to say that yeah, the instructions suck and yeah, the parts don't fit perfect but with a little bit of wiggling and stuff, you can get by and save a few bucks and go ahead and buy this $55 rack but you know, I'm kind of 50-50, it's not worth a whole lot more than $50 based on the effort that I spent to put this together and I'm a pretty handy guy, there was even one nut that was machined so poorly it wouldn't even bite onto the bolt so you know, one bolt here is my own bolt that I have right there from my my stash of loose bolts, nuts and bolts but you know, they should all look like this, like that, but see I have one loose because one nut just wouldn't fit and you know, the directions were extremely poor let me show you the directions, it's just, that's it, there's no other pages the print on the pictures is really hard to read, looks like it was copied many many times so you know, I'm going to give this one a neutral, usually I like to save a buck and spend a little bit more effort but I'm going to give this one a neutral

Good quality, poor service, no parts!

 I got rain and even some hail in Guadalajara and it did not leak at all, except for a few expected scratches from the hail, the top held up well so no complaints there either. I just wish those damn grip mounts were smaller, or maybe removable once locked into place. They just eat up so much space, I can't get over it!
