 At first I thought it had maybe been put together wrong, but after coming here and seeing all the other reviews saying a similar thing, it sounds like some of them just do that, which is too bad. So much to love here if it would actually glide smoothly like the product description says it will.

 After he put it together, we put our two cats in there lying down to see what the motion and stability was like with weight. (One weighs 11 lbs the other 6.) Max weight is supposed to be 30 lbs (which we got nowhere near) and the glider seemed to struggle a bit, as opposed to when it was empty. We turned the music on and it's terrible, to be honest

 It sounds really tinny and cheap. The first music sound wasn't pleasant, and one of the sounds my husband said sounded like distant artillery (and he was right! Maybe it was meant to sound like thunder?!) The 'water' sound was passable and so were the birds. The cloth was okay, but the head rest fabric isn't nearly as plush as it looked in the photos either. The power cord also seems a bit short to me, you'll need to have it near a wall (about 3-4 ft) to use the powered features

Not impressed, Graco needs more competition

Okay, we love this thing so much that we took it apart, put it in a suitcase, and took it to CA to see baby's grandparents. It comes apart super easy and lays very flat on the bottom of the suitcase and is easy to put together again. This swing has been a lifesaver for us. It's nice to have a place to put baby down that is off the floor and that has movement to it

 My only complaint is that the music and nature sounds are completely lame. I bought this because it had a bunch of songs and sounds to choose from (like twice as many as other swings) and since I'm a musician and love the outdoors I somehow thought those sounds would be neat. They are not. The sound is tinny and sounds like something from a 1980's synthesizer

Love this swing! Just don't love the lame music or dangly stars.
