Interview with Alexander Pfister - Punchboard
Thanks, and auf wiedersehen. I just want to say thank you again to Alex for his valuable time. Exciting times ahead with new Great Western Trail games, an automa included for solo play, and a new heavy game this year!

FYI I think the new Great Western Trail artwork is still pretty meh.

Coincidentally I think this is why I **didn't** like Great Western Trail. It felt weird not to be able to use the other buildings that players had built but to still have to "stop" at them or pay just to pass.

Great Western Trail, Champions of Midgard, and Its a Wonderful World -- I don't think I liked any of these very much the first play, but now they're all in my top 10.

Great Western Trail for me. Fixes nearly every issue the base game had (or at least addresses them as to make the issues tolerable).
Great Western Trail. Had to learn it somewhat on the fly as none of us had played it, but it was just a delight to play.

IKI, Rococo, Bruges, Great Western Trail. In all these games I prefer the original art way more to a point that I absolutely have no interest in the new editions. It s like the new editions were stripped of their character.
