I've scrolled through this sub looking for advice on picking a pellet grill. I was originally looking at the Traeger Silverton (Costco exclusive) but after reading some of the posts on Reddit I have concluded that Traeger is not all it's cracked up to be. I've looked at Recteq and Grilla and those both seem like great options. Here's a little info on what I'm looking for:
- Ability to smoke meats (e.g. ribs) as well as grill (e.g. burgers, hot dogs, steaks) 
- Would like to avoid a gas hookup or propane
- Reliable temperature (maintaining and staying within a small threshold)
- Will mostly be cooking for my wife and I but might occasionally have people over so would like to be able to cook for up to 8 people
- Price range is up to $900

Any advice anyone can provide on best options would be extremely appreciated. Would like to get some practice runs in before the 4th!

You would be hard pressed to beat a gmg Daniel Boone or Jim bowie if you kick up your price up a little

So there is an overwhelming amount of what look to be awesome options for pellet grills. This would be my first pellet grill and I was wondering what you all would recommend. Some details, my budget is around 799, I do most of the cooking and its only my girlfriend and I. We do occasional get togethers for big games and fights but even then nothing huge! First Pellet Grill and need some advice!

I am looking at my first pellet grill and have been convinced to look beyond just Traeger. I am currently on the east coast of Canada so my options are limited (please don't suggest Rec Tec). I basically have the option of Traeger, Weber, Camp Chef, Broil King, Louisiana, and Pit Boss.

What really matters to me is an easy startup, quick clean, temperature probes and a good app / wifi capability.
