 Put that in there that fits nice and secure in there. Uh yeah, I'd have no issue with that. Throw my power supply in there. I do try to keep my weight down as much as possible when I am commuting

 So this compartment has one zipped mesh and quite a bit of space inside of that. and then the inside compartment which of course is the biggest. Um, and it does fold pretty flat. Um, it's got a little place for I suppose

 Another zip mesh compartment here. and then it does include a removable Pc or computer pack that is strapped in very securely. So I did try this a little bit earlier and it's extremely secure. Snap fit and this is the pack for the computer if you're going to take your computer with either on a day trip or commuting hopefully not on a day trip

 To make things worse, the airline (United) would not allow it as a carry on with the hip belt because it's too big. That's a big miss.

It a very big laptop backpack and the fact that the hip belt is sewn in, makes it awkward for everyday work use. On the flipside, it's a but too small for a travel backpack. This thing is funky

Decent design but would benefit from daisy chains and additional exterior pockets. This should be a 40 liter bag. Gregory makes freak packs, this one just needs some design modifications.

Additional Design Consideration Needed

A smallish travel backpack

  The padding of the sleeve also made me feel that my electronics were secure and save as well.

  The computer sleeve fits my 15.4" laptop well with some spare room.  It is nice to be able to put my laptop, tablet, cords, etc. all in one pouch and just slide it in and out of place

  For day hikes from the house, I will likely still grab another pack that I have instead.

  Also, the water bottle holder is not quite easy as I like for hiking.  It has the capability of holding a bladder, but it does not have a place for the hose to come out of the pack, limiting that ability.  For day hikes from the house, I will likely still grab another pack that I have instead.

As for a hiking pack, it was super comfortable and sturdy. There are multiple compartments for separation, but also plenty of space (34L). This pack doesn't have a lot of exterior options to hook accessories to like a GPS or treking pole like other traditional hiking packs do, but that wasn't a deal breaker for me.

 I loved the laptop sleeve that comes with it, and fit my Dell laptop perfectly. There is a way to leave you laptop plugged in for on the go charging, however for me personally I don't really like charging devices in bags. I have had some devices get really hot and I'm afraid of a fire hazard.

I took it on a 7 mile hike on an abnormally warm December day. The temperature got up to around 60° that morning, and when I took the pack off, my back was pretty sweaty. More so than I expected. There is a mesh back, but it doesn't allow for a lot of air movement

5 star recommendation for a hiking pack. This wouldn't be the first pack I'd grab just for a day hike, but it would be great for grabbing when traveling for work or business and there is an awesome trail nearby you want to check out.

Tech Backpack that Also Made for the Woods

 There are separate compartments that are really helpful to delineate different needs. One compartment is used for electronics, another deep pocket compartment for gym clothes/overnight clothes, and a third for easy access for small items like toiletries.  The deep middle compartment (see picture) is really helpful because the zipper opening allows you to see into the bag easily. I've definitely had other bags that have narrow openings and it's challenging to access what you need

I've used this pack for hikes and for city use, and for me, this pack is best suited for commuting/casual use. Living in a city that has inclement weather, I need a pack that is waterproof and can keep my electronics dry and secure, which this pack does. The pack even incorporates a zipper protectant design to make it difficult for others to open your pack on the bus, for instance. I incorporate physical activity into my daily life and this pack is comfortable, sits comfortably on the hips, and is great for traveling by foot, public transportation, and bike commuting
