 It smells great in a woody, spicy and aromatic way and it rests on top of something slightly musky and sweet. It gives off this classy and elegant vibe with a bit of something sexy about it and if that sounds good to you then why not try it out. So how am I going to rate this fragrance? I really enjoyed it from the first sniff. Yes it feels like it has been done before in one way or another but I don't really care when it's this good

 The opening is really impressive and it feels both elegant and smooth right from the start. Heading into the drydown, the whole blend turns into something woody with a spicy kick to it together with a hint of something musky. There's a slightly sweet and amber touch to it which is absolutely fantastic. I have smelled something similar before

 So how am I going to rate this fragrance? I really enjoyed it from the first sniff. Yes it feels like it has been done before in one way or another but I don't really care when it's this good. And yes the performance is not the best but again I really don't care when it smells this good. Gucci Guilty Pour en Parfum is a mass appealing, elegant and classy scent with a sexy side to it and it smells great

 When I go above age sprays I start getting a decent scent cloud that people around me can get a whiff of. The scent trail of it is amazing and it's thanks to it that I got my first compliment. So when should you use this perfume? It's such an elegant and classy fragrance and it's a scent that is truly versatile. Use it when you are going to work or when you are going on a date

GUCCI GUILTY POUR HOMME PARFUM REVIEW (2022)👌 It's a Compliment Getter.

Today I tested out Gucci Guilty Pour Homme edt for the first time and just love it. I saw a few reviews before hand and saw it gets a lot of hate for being “boring”; but realistically this is a great scent if you love a citrus/lavender/woody profile. Not everything has to be overly complex or niche.

Nice but late

 I think this smells good. I'm excited to continue wearing it and testing it over these next couple days. I think this is one that could be potentially one of the better Gucci Guilties. Again, I don't think it's going to top absolute

 For $155 I'm hoping for something halfway decent but we'll have to see. So it opens up kind of fruity fresh, a little bit syrupy sweet. It opens up like a true Parfum fragrance. Now this is something where after you've smelled a bunch of different things and a bunch of different concentrations, you can usually pick out kind of the richness and the heaviness of a higher concentrated scent

 So prices on some of this stuff is going up. Savage Elixir, $150, $160 for 60ml. That's even more expensive price per ml wise here. So yeah, this hobby is definitely not getting any cheaper

 So the lavender is giving off this kind of clean, fresh balance. There are some fragrances where maybe they get you in the opening and you're like, holy crap, this opens up and smells amazing, and you hit the dry down and you're bored of it. You're kind of forgetting about it. That's not the case with this one

 But my point being that hopefully this is coming across. These fragrances are very nice. They're hyper masculine. I think it's like what the fragrance brands, when they think of hyper masculinity, attracting women, pheromones, these fragrances for me come to mind

So now I'm about an hour into the fragrance, and it's very clear, you know, these fragrances are going after a very specific masculine scent, and again, I'd like to hear some comments, hey, from the guys watching, is this, you know, is this a fragrance, specifically Gucci Guilty that you've worn, that you find is good for dates for women, and ladies that are watching, I'd love to hear comments. I want to hear your feelings on Gucci Guilty and these other fragrances like Sauvage or Acqua di Gio, these are like that fresh, clean, masculine fragrance. I know people don't necessarily like this opinion, but my feeling on these fragrances is they're great

Just this weekend I stumbled across fragrantica reviews of the abomination that I wore in the 90s called New West by Aramis. A lot of girls in my class had this. I don't know what we were thinking. I guess we were wowed by a watermelon top note but something about the combination of that and the ozone or aldehydes they used just made us smell like rotton cucumbers. Honestly it was like a whiff of summer trash to me. I got sick of mine after a few weeks and got rid of it. Some of my friends however, were more perstisant and bathed in this for years.
The weird part of the story is, people in the reviews... This is a discontinued fragrance, and someone paid like $600 on ebay for an old bottle... only to find that the juice is off after so many years. How devastating! I am trying to fathom how bad it must smell; since it was already a weird one when it was fresh and new,   and now there is real rot added to the 'artificial' rot... uuuhh, I feel so sorry for this person. Rot². 

Why did I buy (ask for) New West way back then? Peer pressure; I was 14 and this was the shit back then, I really don't have any other excuse. And I did dig that watermelon top note for a little while until it just did a weird turn on me... I wonder what causes this. 

Can anyone relate? A perfume that you thought you really liked and then after a few wears you start to actually hate it so much that you just want it out of your house? What are the notes that do this to you? 

I have another one that I bought many years later, was already grown up then so age is no excuse; it was Flora by Gucci. Maybe I can blame it on jet lag cause I got that one at an airport. I don't even know how to describe what's wrong with this one, it's just really sharp and gaggy. I would put down jasmine as suspect no.1 but apparently there is none in it.

 Maybe a little more if included iso e super, molecule 01. Don't be a "sissy sprayer" as curlyfragrance would say. Not money well spent. I say shop around for better options
