I know you can’t get rid of pores but I’m wondering is there anyway to make them smaller? I use La Roche Posay products. They keep my acne mostly at bay but I feel like my pores are just so large. Part of it is genetic, but just wondering if there’s anything else I can do at home to help. Thanks!

[MEGATHREAD] 2022 Easy to find products in Australia and New Zealand

My daughter has mild eczema and I had been using a different brand but decided to try something new. I thought this having natural ingredients would be good. However, the first thing I note is the very strong smell. As soon as I tried some on, my daughter noted the smell, which was rather pungent

 The cream itself is a bit beige in color and quite thick. It did feel a bit greasy and my skin felt gluey afterwards. However, due to the strong smell, my daughter has refused to wear it. I did not find the smell too bad, but I would be wary for those with sensitive smells

<p>My skin type: Oily/dehydrated w/rosacea</p>

<p>My skin concerns: Redness, lack of moisture</p>

<p>Why I chose those products: IMO these have been the most hydrating products I’ve come across. The Kiku toner is the most hydrating I’ve ever used, and the Illiyoon cream is very soothing but dries down matte, so I can still use it in the daytime. The Benton sheet mask I would keep so I still had a treat to use occasionally, and it helps my redness out a lot.</p>

Moisturiser for very dry skin?

 It’s non-greasy. My fault with it is the scent. It has an oatmeal and clay scent that lingers on my skin that I’m not fond of.

Good to use, but not 100% help

I have dry skin so I’m just after the best cheap dry/dehydrated skin product recommendations! (Eye creams, masks, serums etc) 

I currently use LRP lipikar moisturiser, urea cream and I wash with either squalane oil or salicylic cleanser from cerave. My skin still feels dry though. 

I have dry and sometimes dehydrated sensitive skin. I get hormonal acne. I have skin on more sensitive side too :)

Dry Skin cheap product recs!!

Our 16 month old has sensitive skin that, on a few occasions, our pediatrician has noted looks like eczema. While his flares were always pretty mild and sporadic, as a mother you will do almost anything to prevent discomfort to your child. We worked really hard to find a regimen that moisturized and prevented irritated skin. We were able to come up with a few different lotions, bath treatments, washes, etc that when used routinely, prevented redness and rashes

 I was happy when I saw that no fragrances were added, and figured that it would still smell pretty good given the shea butter, oatmeal, and various oils added. That, however, is not the case. I find the smell to be pretty chemical like. It dissipates relatively quickly after applied, but definitely does not smell like something you should be applying to a baby

 Some of the ingredients listed are known triggers for eczema prone skin (ie some alcohols and other chemicals). Our son hasn't had any issues and the lotion seems to be keeping symptoms as bay, but again, his case is mild. Just be sure to read the ingredient list closely and decide if this product it right for you.  Overall, I think that this lotion does a great job at preventing flares
