I've just been testing the Head Absolute Joy. This is an all-mountain women's ski, 79 underfoot, and with a recommended retail of £445 with a binding.

to pick out skis for them but personally as a female skier having a bunch of men pick out and decide on skis that they never personally have skied, never will ski, and even if they did would have a completely different experience on due to average differences in body size/weight/strength doesn't do us any benefit. I think a lot of women become discouraged from the sport and don't progress as they should from bad experiences and improper equipment. For beginner/early intermediate skiers, some women's skis I recommend looking into are the Black Pearl 82 (it's heavily recommended and a best seller for a reason), the Volkl Flair 76, Blizzard Phoenix 7.2, the Head Absolut Joy. Out of those options the Black Pearl 82 would be the most versatile and would be the least likely to outgrow quickly.
