 One of the advantages, too, is they're nice and light. So they're made from an aluminium frame and they're very light and very strong all right. (Me: Tiny aluminum folding table designed to put stoves on.  Cute, Japanese-made and definitely at an import price.  I don't hate it but I wish someone had talked me out of it.)

 The material itself is a polyester with the mesh panels for breathability. The chair has an overall weight capacity of about 145 kilos and we're gon na. Do the comfort test it's a very stable chair, lift it off a bit to get it in the right spot on that neck supports really good. Actually, it's definitely not going to tip

What gear purchase from 2021 are you most stoked on?

Awesome, light and comfortable - but pricy

 Now these feet are quite a lot bigger than the chair one, but still, if you get into soft sand or soft ground, you can get those feet to still sink. However, helen knox knows this and they do sell a few accessories that will prevent that. They do have larger balls that go on the bottom of these feet. They do sell a ground sheet, though, and this would be perfect for the sand because they would distribute all of the weight evenly between not only all four feet, but also between all four feet

 The back of the chair, you can see goes all the way up to the back of my head. I can literally lay my head back and stargaze all night. If i want to also you can see that if i stand up, they do have a little bit of velcro right here and what i like to do is in the pouch that the chair fits into. There'S also some velcro right here, i'll slap that on there stick a shirt inside of this pouch, and it gives me just a little bit of added extra support right behind my neck

 So it's still a very light chair. Is it as light as the chair one? No, but look how much smaller the chair one is. I will say that for cali and i the only times that we would take the chair one over the sunset chair is: if we really need to stay lightweight and compact. So for us, that's going to be on a motorcycle trip, we'll throw the chair one on the back of the motorcycle, because it's a little bit smaller than this chair

 Making it very comfortable, also helen knox, does sell a couple accessories for this back here you can do a foam, slash air pillow or just an air pillow that will kind of do the same thing that i'm doing with my shirt, although i'm guessing it probably is A little bit more comfortable, also what i like about this chair and leading to why it's so comfortable, is it's a little bit higher off the ground than the chair, one that we have probably my biggest complaint with the chair. One is that, when i'm sitting in it, what tends to happen is that this lower piece of fabric starts to dig into my legs and it actually over time, will cut off circulation with the sunset chair being a little bit higher off the ground. I don't have that issue any longer. This one is about roughly 17 inches off the ground to right here where the chair, one, is only about 11 inches off the ground

 So over the years. That'S really not that bad, and i know that it's going to last, especially having these and seeing the abuse that these have gone through. Hi everyone. Unfortunately all of our camping gear was lost in a car fire last night, just in time for camping season, of course.  Using this as an opportunity to upgrade our gear, and I don't have much trust in product reviews online.

I'm looking for suggestions on quality gear (don't usually hike in, so weight is not too important) that won't break the bank in a situation like this where everything needs replacing with no warning.  We are newer campers and everything was from walmart, but we are looking for suggestions a level above that (don't need cool space age tech or anything too fancy).  So does anyone have suggestions for gear they use and just love?  Or if some of these items like mess kits and camp chairs are all generally good no matter the brand/price, let me know as well. 

We will be replacing:

Tent (2-3 person)
Warmer weather sleeping bags (50F+)
Colder weather sleeping bags (0-20F)
Mess kit/ silverware/ cook set 
Camping chairs

Somehow the walmart coffee cups survived unscathed.

Gear lost in fire

Helinox, a Korean based sportswear brand, makes great portable chairs. Very lightweight and portable, you can easily carry a few of these to a picnic, camping trip etc. Being 6'3", 190lbs, I prefer the Helinox Sunset because it has the longest back to support tall people, my head fits on the headrest. I'd say its optimal for someone up to my height but not beyond
