To me, the best mainstream vetiver on the market because when I smell this I really don't smell synthetic ingredients I do smell high quality luxurious vetiver, which by the way is on the upper side of the expensive side when it comes to natural ingredients

 This is for people that want to be different, such as not everybody wants to have the shiny object like a Dior like a Chanel fragrance. This is definitely in its own league as well and very much up there when it comes to prestige. but it's not such a Shouter attention grabber like the other two brands that I just mentioned you. So Conclusion: This fragrance is one of the best ones by the brand of Hermes It is the best vetiver fragrance in general when it comes to mainstream vetiver

BEFORE YOU BUY Terre D'Hermes | Jeremy Fragrance

I would say that it does smell cold in the cap or on paper, so maybe it's a skin chemistry thing that causes this different impression. **Hermes Terre d'Hermes Parfum** - This is what I'm wearing today. Citruses aren't always my favorite, but I ordered a sample because I noticed that Terre d'Hermes is often mention when people discuss vetiver and I do love a good vetiver.

Unlike eau fraiche version from Amazon, this one actually smells the same as Neiman marcus version. See my other review of terre fraiche for more details. Seems online fragrances always a crapshoot, but possibly deserved when saving a lot of money.

 There's Bellamy, Equippage, and Rockabar. More recently, a famous female release, of course, was 24 Faubourg, which you can get in eau de toilette or eau de parfum form and numerous flankers. Let's get on to the one I'm actually here to talk about today, then. Of course, Eau de Hermes, really the flagship masculine fragrance now from the House of Hermes and hugely successful around the world

 I'm looking forward to wearing it a lot more over the coming year, having recently acquired this second-hand used bottle and I'm going to be carrying on with a few, I hope, videos like this. I'm still going to be putting out my normal content, but I'll do a few like this where I just shoot the bottle and give you maybe about a 10-minute description of what I consider an all-time classic.  There are numerous flankers to this now. We're talking about the classic eau de toilette from 2006 today. In 2009, they bought out Eau de Hermes parfum. Don't forget, if you'd like to join the Smelly Army Private Members Club over on Patreon, there's a link in the description to do that

 Since then, there's many things occasionally compared to this one. You could certainly say Dunhill's Icon in 2015 takes a little bit of the Terre de Mes vibe, certainly a lot of that Iso E Super and vetiver mixed with citrusy accords, and there've been numerous other things which have taken the odd leaf here and there out of the Terre de Mes book, but this one, you just can't go wrong with it. I think it will stand the test of time. It doesn't smell of any particular era

Fragrance Review - Terre d'Hermes - All Time Classics Lockdown Series

Personally: Terre d'Hermes! It's a classic, and generally understood to be a unisex scent, but it still mostly reads as a masculine scent to the GP. TdH is so beautiful, earthy, and warm, though - one of my personal signatures as a woman and a frequent compliment-netter. Suitable for year-round (albeit leaning winter), designer priced, and fine for both day/night.

Learning about fragrance has become my new quarantine hobby. And I'm discovering that women are wearing men's cologne and rocking them. Call me prude but I never knew this.

10 scents ladies should steal from the guys

 "Fake" as in they obtained the original essence oil of the perfume, and mix a large batch of it with more solvent than usual. This allows them to produce more content and sell it off cheaper to customers! The scent is exactly the same as the real thing, but they don't last nearly as long as either the Pure Perfume or even EDT.  I would STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST buying this perfume here! Do yourself, and this perfume, justice and spend a little bit more for the EDT variant from a legitimate source! The EDT variant is slightly more expensive for a smaller size, but they last so much longer, you would use a lot less. Get the real thing!! I wish Amazon would do something and stop selling this! There are a lot of complains here already!

 Tried it the next day, same thing. The following day I sprayed it on my shirt to see if the scent lingers longer, disappeared in mere hours! Just to be clear, when I tested it in Sephora, the scent lingered for days on the sleeve of my jacket! I could smell it every time I raised my hand by my face, it will still be there! To confirm, I even went back to Sephora a few days ago to try out their sample again, and yes, the scent lingered for days on end. Any clothing item that got sprayed on has the scent on it for days.  Instantly loved it, and loved it even more as I realized the different notes it has as time passes by.  Which brings me here to Amazon to buy this perfume. The parfum spray (Pure Perfume) variant of Terre D'Hermes is sold at $130 in every store I've checked, locally or online. But I stumbled upon this here, where the very same variant (Pure Perfume) is sold at $70

Absolutely useless fragrance. Also 99% of the male fragrance stuff at sephora. I enjoyed Fahrenheit and Terre d'Hermes, but that was about it. I was expecting to like jazz club and by the fireplace but they were so dainty and light compared to favorites like aramis and yatagan

What fragrance did you have high hopes for but turned out to be a bummer? I think mine is the Maison Margiela line in general. They are nice and subtle but I didn’t find any of them TOO inspiring for the price

Clean Smelling

 Terre d'Hermes, Nishane Sultan Vetiver, Nishane B-612, Carner D600, Dior Homme (Original), Ormonde Jayne Man, Amouage Reflection Man, Amouage Beach Hut Man, and Xerjoff Naxos (would we count Nio as marketed to men?) all fit this bill nicely!.

I have a few. I'm a woman in my mid-20s and I usually like very girly fruity scents, but I have some men's fragrances in my collection that I really like.

1. Replica Jazz Club. This one probably won't surprise anyone, as while it's marketed as a male fragrance, a lot of people consider it to be unisex. (Fun fact: I don't drink, ever, but Jazz Club makes me want to have a glass of whisky!)
2. YSL Y Eau Fraîche. It's a fresh green scent to me. It's got a bit of a "male" base that usually isn't to my liking, but it doesn't bother me here.
3. Burberry Mr. Burberry Indigo. Just like Y Eau Fraîche, it's fresh and green. Perfect for summer!
