It delivers impressive picture quality for a variety of content as it has an incredibly high contrast ratio with a great local dimming feature and amazing black uniformity, meaning blacks look deep and inky with minimal blooming.

It looks amazing in a bright room, as it gets incredibly bright and has excellent reflection handling, so glare isn't an issue in a bright room. HDR content looks incredible thanks to its wide color gamut and high peak brightness, so bright highlights in some scenes stand out. It runs the new Google TV smart interface, which is fast and easy to use, and it has a great selection of streaming apps, so you're sure to find your favorite content.

The Hisense 65U8H is the best 65-inch TV under $1,500 we've tested. It's an incredible TV with amazing picture quality.  Now let's talk about the positive things that this TV has to offer. 120 hertz, 1,500 nits, color, fantastic. You have those Dolby Vision modes. It also has the iMac features, so if you're going to pull up Disney+, it's going to look really good on that type of content

 You also have your Google voice commands right there, your settings. One thing I like is that it has the white background, so it's easy to see in the dark. And that's the navigation button as well. You have your back button, a direct TV button, volume, channel up and down, and that's that menu button that I showed you guys earlier

 First of all, this is powered by Google Operating System, and this allows you to connect it to your Google account and use voice commands as well as controlling devices in your home. On the side you're going to find some settings, you also have a screen saver, you have some inputs, and you do have some picture options. And I want to let you guys know that this TV also supports your Amazon services as well. You just go in here and go through the setup process and connect it to your account, and then you can use it for those voice commands as well

 Hey guys, Joestar here, welcome back to the channel and this time I have the Hisense U8H in the house! This TV is loaded with mini LED, over 500 dimming zones, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, Quantum Dot, gaming features and Google operating system. I have the 65 inch model, but it is also available in 55 and 75 inches. I've been watching movies on Netflix, videos on YouTube and gaming on the Xbox Series X and PS5. I also connected my soundbar and I have been enjoying Dolby Atmos

 Just like other Hisense TVs, there is a microphone in the front for Google Assistant, with a switch you can turn off but you'll also activate these annoying LED lights which are very bright at night. Ok, setting up Google OS, for the first time you'll need the Google Home app. Follow the instructions, choose the app of your choice, pair the remote with Bluetooth functionality and you are set to go. The Google operating system is easy to use, fast and responsive but on my previous video I showed some more tips on how to make it even faster, so be sure to watch that video

 Then, under the picture settings menu, right here under backlight, there's an option for the ambient light sensor. By default, in several modes, this is turned on. And if it is turned on, it will stomp down on the brightness of the TV depending on how much light it registers in your room. Now, you may like the idea of that feature, and if you do, then go ahead and give it a whirl

Now, you may like the idea of that feature, and if you do, then go ahead and give it a whirl. But also, try turning it off to see if you like how the TV looks that way, because you will not get the full brightness potential of this TV, which is monumental, by the way, if you have this turned on and have anything other than a super bright room. Also, very important, you have to make this change for apps and HDMI inputs independently, and you have to do it for SDR and HDR and Dolby Vision content, again, individually, for apps and HDMI inputs

 BTW I had to put the soundbar on top pf the TV legs because there is no space otherwise. I have it on eARC enabled and Audio Output as Passthrough and got Dolby Atmos without issue or delay.  The only thing that makes me reduce one star is that the UI has some bugs. One that I have seen in Paramount+ is that when you try to change the picture settings it goes out of the video, so you cannot change the settings

And before I get out of here, my ramble keeps going.  And then the price went up because it broke the market and people kept buying it. User interface, I like the user interface even though sometimes it's glitchy. It's the same Android or Google, depending on which one you have. The ability for you to be able to watch a stream like, to watch something like Hulu and take that stream and see a crystal clear picture is better than what I see on my Samsung S95B
