Hisense PX1-Pro Laser TV Review!!!

Hello all – would really appreciate some personal advice on selecting a projector for my media room in my home that is under construction. I am fairly new to the world of projectors but have researched a bunch, basically just enough to confuse myself but here is what important to me.
 
Important:
- Overall 4K image quality
- Input lag – I am no pro gamer but I would like to still be able to play some Halo or CoD without it bothering me if possible. I play a mix of FPS and single player games
 - General “future-proofing”: I want this to last me a while without feeling like I have been totally left behind
- Value: I am by no means made of money but I will spend on things worth it to me like this. I was planning on 3K for a projector but if it is truly a better value to spend more and last longer, I have no problem with it.
Don’t care:
- Sound quality (I will have atmos home theater speaker setup)
- Smart system (I will be using Xbox Series X and Apple TV 4K)
- Brightness (I will be in a dark dedicated room)
Unsure
- DLP vs LCD – I have not been able to test out if I am susceptible to RBE and I see nothing but conflicting info on how many people it effects. Any places I can go test?
- Safety features like eye detection – I will be having a newborn soon but plan on keeping kids out of the media room
 - Native 4K vs pixel shifting – Seems to not be as important for projectors but I am not sure

6.     Usage: Movies, TV, Games, Sports, etc. Mostly split between Xbox and movies with some sports thrown in
7.     Room type: Dedicated, Mixed use, Living room. Dedicated media room, no windows.

9.     Room colors: Walls, Ceiling, and floors All dark – dark navy paint and dark grey carpet

Media Room UST Advice please

It's good but a few things that bug me

 And honestly, I've reviewed almost a dozen of these ultra-short throw projectors, and they've all had less than perfect lenses. As for image quality, it's a razor sharp looking projector. The colors look amazing, and the image does have impressive brightness with the lights off. Shadow detail and black levels, as far as I can remember, don't crush details and don't look all muddy like the Hisense L9 did when I saw it at the projector shootout

Hisense PX1-Pro 4K Laser Projector Review | 2022's BEST Ultra Short Throw Projector?

Planning to setup a home theatre in a section of the basement. The area is 8.5ft x 19.5ft and has a 1x2 sqft window (window well) with not a lot of light during the day. I have complete light control and can cover the window well if required. No in-built conduits or cabling available and will need to run cables for the projector if required.

Already have a Nakamichi Elite 7.2 sound system that I am happy with at the moment. It does not require me to run front-to-back cables as both subs and their respective surround speakers are at the back of the section behind the seating.

I plan to use the space for movies and gaming on Xbox Series X. Content will be 4k whenever available; gaming 4k@60Hz; low input lag desired as long as it does not become an annoyance. Coming from a 55inch Samsung Q60R TV and have had no issues or annoyance in gaming on the same. Would love a similar experience.

For the screen I am planning a 100-inch screen but cannot decide which one as it will depend on the projector throw type (UST vs Long Throw). Also do not want to spend too much on it. Would love a recommendation for a good budget screen. Okay to go DIY route too. 

For the projector I have filtered down to Hisense PX1-PRO and LG CineBeam HU810P/AU810P. Primary considerations are as follows:

1. Color details and coverage (107% BT.2020 and 97% DCI-P3 respectively) 
2. Number of laser light sources (3 and 2 respectively)
3. HDMI 2.1 ports, 
4. MEMC, game mode with ALLC, and low input lag
5. Hopefully lasts and stays relevant for at least 5 years and possibly 8-10 years

Hisense PX1-Pro Review - My New Favorite Laser TV?

Hello, I've been searching for UST projectors in the $3K range for quite some time and was able to land on above three USTs based on my use cases. I'm looking for at least 135 inch projection which was the main reason to include VAVA and Xgimi Aura in my list. Max screen size for Optoma is 120'' and I see some deals going around right now for this UST around $2499.  


I've seen positive reviews on Hisense L5F but it's limited to 120 inch screen. Can anyone suggest me a reliable UST which can project more than 120'' and costs around $3K ?
