Hisense U7G

After watching and reading a ton of reviews on the new Hisense TV's, I decided to pull the trigger on the U7G. A decent TV with HDMI 2.1 and VRR for my consoles.

* * * I have a 75in U7G and experience the same issues.

I also seen a few other Canadian retailers preparing to release it around that time. To be honest, I feel that the U7G is somewhat of a better value than the U8G. From what I've seen, (correct me if I'm wrong) the only things the U8G have over the U7G are 500 more nits (U7G has 1000 nits peak brightness, U8G has 1500) of brightness and more dimming zones. I think while that may give better, more premium-like picture quality, in my opinion, for the average consumer, I think the U7G (or even the U6G if you're not a gamer) would give you better value compared to the U8G.

Hello all, I have a Hisense 65U7QF and I love it, however, all content that had Dolby Vision in Netflix occasionally flickers. Same doesn't happen in Amazon Prime or in HDMI sources, even if they are Dolby Vision.

I've had my new Hisense U7G TV a month now, and I find myself using Active Contrast set to High while in Game Mode and playing games on my PS5. It really makes the picture pop, and enhances the picture in really detailed ways. I can't seem to re-create that same picture quality with Active Contrast turned off on my U7G. But I think Active Contrast really makes my TV better this time around.
