Bought this three years back that time wanted something small and easy to move around. It takes a little bit of creativity to iron shirts on this though, but I liked as I can sit while ironing after I bought this. I moved three different houses in one city but it was easy to carry this as it can fold in smaller size. Awesome purchase! This ironing board is super cute for dorm small places or if you just want something compact versus a huge ironing board as it folds in half and can be easily stored

 Unfortunately, the catch was not positioned correctly on my unit. As originally installed, I was unable to get it to seat on the crossbar at all to prevent the unit from folding back up from the slightest touch because the original positioning was too close to the crossbar it was supposed to seat on. I removed the screws myself and re-positioned the catch so that it connected with the crossbar to keep the unit from folding up while in-use. My first reposition try, I was able to re-use two of the holes

 It is a bit on the small side, as an XL T-shirt was barely able to fit (top-to-bottom) on the entire length (not with one side pulled under the unit). I had to reposition to get the top and bottom edges well pressed. The handy cage at the back end is great for a lighter iron to keep it from tipping over and burning a hole in your board cover or clothing item while you are not looking. It might bend if you have a heavy unit, though

 This is attached on the bottom of the board using a plate with 4 screws and swings down to hook over and seat on one of the crossbars for the stand, not allowing it to "fold" back. This compact ironing board is not bad for the price, but the quality control could use a bit of work. My issue: The stand of the unit has a swing-down bent wire "catch" that keeps the entire thing from folding up on you when you use it. OK for the Price, but Poor Quality Control

 Overall, I'd say this is good for a dorm room maybe, but for any bigger apartment, it's probably more worth it to just get a standing ironing board.

Pretty flimsy and not that practical

I needed a small ironing board for those items that always need a bit of a touchup. And, I really disliked dragging out the full-size ironing board. So.

Cheesy, but it works!

It's not as sturdy as it might appear in the photo but the design has been in use for decades. The lock-together mechanism could use a more secure design to keep it from collapsing during use. I hesitate to use the iron rack which is rather flimsy, just a u-shaped metal wire which slides out from under the board where it is barely secured in place.

 Pros - The board is well-padded, so it provides a good thickness and cushion for ironing while also providing good support as a flat surface. - The legs and iron rest fold flat, making storage very easy. Cons - The legs (base of board) don’t lock when they are fully opened. I was trying to straighten out a pair of shorts on the board by pulling one leg hole through the pointier end of the board (know what I mean?), when the board collapsed because the base of the board folded flat with the pressure

I’ve only used this to iron on heat transfer vinyl to T-shirts and iron a pair of linen shorts so far. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this product and the following pros and cons are based on my limited experience with it.
