 Look at this. I'm not kidding around when I say that it's it's It's amazing and yet it's coiled so it doesn't look like it's all stretched out. I've had vacuums where they wanted to give you a hose, but it looked all stretched out. This one does not

 But it's not being sucked up and getting clogged up. Guys, this vacuum sells for under 200 and the reason that's amazing is because the wind tunnel three was every bit of 300 if a person was able to get one of those back in the day and many people have them and they just love them. But when you compare the wind tunnel three with this unit which has all that technology, there's no comparison. This thing beats it out because they knew they had a winner and yet all of us make mistakes

Guys, I'm doing a review on the Hoover Wind Tunnel High Performance Vacuum. I've had one of these for years and what they've done is they've re-engineered it, redesigned it, got rid of the flaws because if you go and look this vacuum up, you're not going to see a lot of reviews. and the reviews that you see are going to talk about the engine overheating. uh, plastic parts breaking the hose? not long enough

Some preferences:

* All hardwood floor, but I plan on getting rugs of varying fiber lengths. Still mostly hardwood.

* I prefer bagless
* No pets, but plan to get some down the road
* Can use a cord or batteries, no preference there
* But I do like the flexible hose in the WindTunnel 3. Many of the battery/bagless options I saw did not have a flexible hose attachment. Hose is important for cleaning my computer and corners in cabinets/tight spaces.

Thinking the Hoover WindTunnel 3 for my new townhouse. Open to other suggestions!

 The vacuum has the weight to hold itself up/not fall over when using the hose as well. The extendable hose attachment is useful as well. I am 6' so bending isn't required nearly as often. The duster works well, It changes angle for awkward vents or ceiling fans

  -Suction to attachment switch: I like the dial to turn off the head completely and send the suction to the attachment hose. It doesnt blow everything away when I'm trying to get up dog hair in the kitchen. The brush off for the floor option on the height dial is nice too.  Buttons: The on button is well located on the handle and the foot press button is well placed as well

 So I figured I would give it a go.  Pros: -Suction: It really does have great suction. It is fairly stronger then my older, lighter vacuum. It does seem to pull up more of the deeper laid dirt, but its a new vacuum compared to an old vacuum

  -Handle: Do not pick up this vacuum by the canister. That is how my old one picked up and nearly every other Hoover we have had. This one, the canister just pops off when you try to do that. Instead you have to pick it up awkwardly by the handle, which gives when you pick it up

I have a miele c1 turbo thanks to you fine folks that works wonders on hardwood and even on light carpet, but doing a single bedroom with the thick carpet wears me out. i’ve adjusted the suction and the head and it’s still quite difficult.

The house needed a fridge and with the fridge came $160 in best buy bucks. I know none of these vacuums are going to be great, but i’m tight for money and need to find a way to clean my floors so this is the best option i got . Can you all suggest a decent enough vacuum for thick carpeting?

Decent Vacuum from Bestbuy for thick carpeting?

 Though the machine removes dirt very well, the attachments simply will NOT stay put in their respective docking clips and mounts. As the machine is jostled and bumped from normal use, they will fall out- very annoying. As a workaround, I have left the rotating brush attachment in the closet. I am left asking why this woefully inadequate design has once again made its way into version 3

 (Think 12 amps X 120 volts= 1440 watts. That's like pushing around an electric heater of sorts.)  Pros: Good value Excellent suction Easy to empty Long cord  Cons: Attachments do not stay attached to their poorly designed storage clips-very frustrating Headlight is completely useless in all lighting conditions No self-winding cord;leads to unruly mess of knots Same old wheel design is still poor and will lead to failure

Also, the headlight is a horribly broad beam with the dimmest yellow incandescent bulb imaginable; it is ineffective in all lighting conditions. It's 2018- use LEDs! I bought this used Kenmore bagged vacuum that apparently is just known for having a poor seal, so while it does clean carpets well, it also just blows a strong dust odor all over the house.  I'm kind of tired of it.  Vacuuming shouldn't make your home feel gross for half an hour afterwards.  I'm seeing the Hoover Mind Tunnel 3 Max Capacity Pet for sale locally for $140 CAD, which is dirt cheap.  I'm thinking about just grabbing the Hoover.  I have 2 flights of carpeted stairs, the top floor is all carpet and the main floor and basement are hardwood.  I'm not spending $600+ on a top of the line Miele right now and I can't find any convincing canister vacs for decent prices.

Replacing old Kenmore canister vac with a new bagless Hoover Wind Tunnel 3 Max Capacity Pet?

 Also, the lid on the main canister that you empty out had one of the cheap little plastic hinge piece break off so everytime I empty the canister I usually end up with a very dusty hand trying to put lid back on. It works, but jeez. Crap plastic for real.  CONCLUSION: All in all it's still a good vacuum with super suction power, but the cheap plastic body is straight crap

 it does exactly what you want. **UPDATE (After using for a year)***  PROS: Vacuum still has alot of power, I have since gotten an inside dog and I pull up a small wig of fur everyday. It does do a great job at sucking up anything whether using the main vacuum or hose.  PROBLEMS: The headlight that came with vacuum stopped working after a few months which it didn't light up anything to begin with (most useless vacuum light I've ever come across, but was not a deal-breaker at all for me)

 Crap plastic for real.  CONCLUSION: All in all it's still a good vacuum with super suction power, but the cheap plastic body is straight crap. Better body and more durable pieces would easily keep this vacuum 5 stars for me.

We put our house on the market and have a photographer coming tomorrow at noon to take pics of the house. I was preparing everything today and because the universe has an amazing since of humor, I smelled burning coming from my Shark Navigator and then it just seized up. I could take it all apart and try to figure it out but I simply don't have time. So, I need a new vacuum that I can pickup TONIGHT.

My store options are Costco, Target, Best Buy, Meijer, and probably a few others. I don't know of any actual vacuum stores near me. This is a horrible time to drop a ton of money on a vacuum as we obviously have a lot of other expenses right now. I would like to keep it around $200 if possible. The current house is 50% carpet, 40% hardwood, 10% tile. We have a hairy beast of a Bernese Mountain Dog. The apartment we will be staying in until we buy is almost exclusively carpet with tile in the kitchen and bathrooms. I am not opposed to possibly selling it after we move from the apartment to the next house and buying a better one. 

Given the stores around me and the urgency, I'm probably limited to Bissel, Shark, Hoover, etc.

I’ve owned several Hoover WindTunnels and have always loved them. When it came time to replace my last one, I did my research and purchased this model. It’s suction power is amazing. The best I’ve ever had
