HP LaserJet Pro M15w

Found a great HP LaserJet printer at my goodwill with plenty of toner in it for $12 and I see it’s selling for anywhere between $200-$600 on eBay. I’m thinking about keeping it at least for a while to use for shipping labels/FBA.

I bit the bullet a couple years ago and got an HP LaserJet and it's been pretty good. It actually wasn't that much more than an inkjet and I think laser printers are a little better for infrequent use. No ink jets to clog up and stuff like that.

Unfortunately, there's no scanner, so you'll need to get an all-in-one model or a dedicated scanner if you want to clearly digitize your photos or documents. The Brother HL-L2370DW performs better in almost every other way, including cost-per-print and printing speed, but it's hard to find in stock at a reasonable price. The HP is still a good choice, especially if you're on a tight budget but need a decent laser printer for black and white prints

It's great for sharp, readable text. Now my kids are printing out school projects, and for various other reasons, it makes sense to get a color printer.

Paper can be dusty. If possible turn the direction of operation. I cannot say I repaired, but my HP laserjet is usable again after cleaning.

If you don't need something that is designed to be carried around, but you need it as small as possible, the HP M15w is a really small monochrome laser printer. The Pantum P2502W is another monochrome laser that might actually be a little smaller than the HP. You can find them on Amazon for less than $100, and is probably a little cheaper per page than the HP to use.
