Drumroll please…  At the end of 24 hours (6 hours per lunch bag/box, each tested twice), there was a definite trend. The gel packs in the Hydroflask lunch bag rose in temperature at a rate of 4 degrees every hour

 If you pack light, this will work but for those who work long days and need more food, its going to be too small. It does fit inside of my backpack and doesn't take up a lot of space on the countertop so sometimes the smaller size is a positive. It is well made but I wouldn't say its durable, it really is just like any other lunch box because nothing makes it stand out.  If you are looking for something to keep your lunch cold, you will need an ice pack inside and even then it doesn't stay cold for too long

It is narrow and tall which for some might be ok but others, won't offer much space to put wider containers inside. I'm a bit torn on it but I see it as a give and take.  Think - a bowl of salad greens and some separate containers I add in at lunchtime. This is not a practical bag for that. I tend to be a pack and assemble later type and this is not the bag for that. It needs be tetrised

 If that is the case, it should definitely be included. I think this prodcuct is too pricey for what it is. The quality is good but you're also paying for the brand name here.

 I think a cool pack is needed if you are looking to avoid food spoiling no matter what type of cooler bag you have. This bag is not really large enough for that. It's likely not large enough for many peoples' needs, especially without some planning of containers to most efficiently use the space. I eat a lot and often have oddly shaped items I don't want to strategically pack

  I'll tell you from the beginning that I took off 1 star for the price- I don't think this bag is any better than any other insulated bag you can buy, I don't think it keeps things colder than any other bag like this I have purchased. My ice packs are just as melted by the end of the day as the other bags at any of the other price points. It's almost too small for my purposes but will be adequate for most students or workers on an 8 hour shift or less. What I CAN say is this is a very nice quality lunch bag- it seems super durable and very well made

 The material is thick, the storage pockets are great and the zippers seem pretty heavy duty. The well thought out handles on both top and sides are a great addition as well. You can see in my pics I was able to fit my average lunch/shift snacks in my bag but I did have to pull an overpacked suitcase manuever so I could get it zipped but the zipper took the abuse pretty well. It's not going to be my daily bag, but it's a nice bag

𝘁𝗹;𝗱𝗿: Good quality construction, insulation trounced by bag volume.  ─╍┄┈┄╍─╍┄┈┄╍─╍┄┈┄╍─╍┄┈┄╍─╍┄┈┄╍─╍┄┈┄╍ 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: This review is concerned with one main aspect really, so I'll get the other things out the way rapidly. The construction quality is quite nice, suffice to say I was surprised it was as good as it was considering HF has only dealt with bottles up until recently.  Based on my measurements, the bag weighs 𝟮𝟯𝟲𝗴 and its dimensions are 𝟮𝟮𝗰𝗺 x 𝟭𝟰𝗰𝗺 x 𝟮𝟲𝗰𝗺; it's fairly light and fairly large

 This is very high quality, but the price is on the higher side and I am sure there are similar cheaper lunchboxes from other brands that may preform just as well, but this is a nice quality option if you are willing to splurge.

It is just too expensive for what it is. I know the hydroflask name is worth a premium but it would be worth the extra price if it did something better than the competition

Expensive And Insulation Is Only Somewhat Effective

 The price is a little steep for the size of this lunchbox, but I know that is probably because of the Hydro Flask name and expectation.
