Loved these skis, but before I pull the trigger I want to demo some Icelantic Nomad 105 and maybe a Kastle FX 106 ti. Not sure I want as much metal as the enforcer has, and like the twin tips the rustler has for moguls and trees. Thoughts on other similar skis I should try? I don’t want to go super soft or super stiff - looking for my Goldilocks.

Icelantic makes both the full rocker nia pro 105 and the has some camber maiden 111 in 162 lengths. Moment makes the Bella in a 162. Some of the smaller companies are going unisex across their entire ski lines and are making more fat skis in the low 160’s like wndr alpine with the intention 108 and season equipment is making their new 114 under foot “pass” ski in a 165.

They blast through crud but are flexible enough for fun jibs and the poppy/surfy skiing style that I like. They carve really well on groomers for their width and flex pattern. It’s important to mention that they’re twin tips so you have to size accordingly and if your weight is too heavy for the 105 you can always go up to a 115 which is a stiffer ski.

My favorites include: for all mountain - I like Icelantic Nomad 105's and Faction Candide 2.0's; for deep powder or sierra cement - I like Armada 115mm JJ's; for icey moguls - I like Faction Candide 1.0's. A lot of my friends like the Blizzard Rustler 10's for all mountain. When possible, I try to buy after ski season or buy last year's models before ski season. I have been able to find very good discounts that way.
