<div class="md"><p>It hasn’t been long since I found this amazing community/the world of reps and I’m happy to say I’ve placed my first order with TS Anna (handbag, belt and a couple shoes… yay!). Since then and while waiting for the final set of PSPs, I’ve been forced to apply never seen before amounts of self-control trying to avoid going off the deep end. </p>

<p>But it’s not only about losing my chill and buying anything and everything in sight because “OMG it’s such a great deal compared to what I’d pay for auth!”. I love having an organized home with an almost minimalist style and trying to plan how to organize my future purchases while caring for the items AND keeping this visually on point has been somewhat overwhelming. </p>

<p>Facing the burden of the constant pull between the desire of having a perfectly organized home (THE worthy/Pinterest goals) and longing to get your hands on the next item of your wishlist is something I’m sure more than one of you lovely RLs goes through. </p>

<p>For those who have mastered the art of buying and keeping it organized, what would you say are your main tips and tricks you think everyone should keep in mind? Any must have products?</p>

Hi. I'd like to buy a standing desk. I live in Europe, so my options are limited. I've narrowed down my options to two desks:

* **Ikea Idasen with the included tabletop (160 x 80 cm)**
* **Fully Jarvis extended with the bamboo tabletop (160 x 80 cm)**

If I go with the Ikea, I'd upgrade the controls so it has memory settings, just like the Jarvis. So the total price would end up being the same for both desks.

Finally, I intend to put a heavy monitor on the desk: a Samsung Odyssey G9, which weights 25.6 lb / 11.61 kg (without Stand). I would mount the monitor on this arm: Ergotron HX, which weights 15.25 lbs / 6.9 kg, and attaches to the side of the tabletop.

Stability matters a lot to me, so that suggests the Ikea Idasen might be a better option. But max load is also important, and the Fully Jarvis can support much more weight...

And I imagine there are more things I should consider. I've never owned a standing desk, so I don't know what to look for.

Given the information above (heavy monitor on arm), which of these two desks would you recommend?

Ikea Idasen vs Fully Jarvis - best for heavy monitor on arm?

 The really killer feature of why I went to this was the double click/tap feature. It works like a charm, you just have to make sure you enable the feature in the Linak software. I use the desktop version of the software as it pops reminders on the computer when to stand. If you have the IKEA Idasen, you would be smart to upgrade to this as it would make your good desk a great desk with a high end feature

First time purchaser looking for a new standing desk but I don't know what brand/desk to pick. I'm hoping to upgrade in size from my current stationary desk to around 60' x 30'. I've done some research already but I'm 6'4" and I'm worried about the stability at height. 

I've looked into the Ikea Idasen since I've heard that's super stable, but I'd probably get just the base and like a butcher block or something for the top if I do that. However, I'm worried about the lower weight capacity of the Idasen as I'm unsure of how much the stuff on my current desk weighs. I've also looked at Uplift, Fully, and Vari desks as well. I know I wouldn't necessarily need to worry about the capacities of those but I've heard they can be really rocky around their max heights which I don't want to have to deal with.

Are there any recommendations/comments/experiences about these desks people have or any other desks I didn't list I should look at?

I did the IKEA Idasen sit/stand and got a super wide, solid butcher block top (also ikea) which is excellent an sturdy as heck.
