if you're a uni student or someone who needs to keep track of key info for months on end, i urge you to get a white board. it literally changed my life. i  got a 60×90cm board where i write my notes for exams like key concepts and such. i remember things much better, i can write while im standing up so it doesn't require forcing myself to sit down and it just makes things so much more dynamic and more appealing. totally recommend

EDIT: like I get the sentiment but commenting stuff like "oh let me know if you're still using it tomorrow" is a little lame like ok even if I'm not let us that are doing this be happy it's working for now lol?

i urge you to get a white board

first of all, DO NOT BUY THIS TABLE FROM AMAZON. YOU CAN GET IT WAY CHEAPER FROM IKEAS WEBSITE, My desk came fto my door step in questionable packaging..

.I assembled it, and was pretty happy although trying not to notice the extremely obvious dents. I put my monitors and computer on it and realized in the middle the desk bowed. Not too much, but a recognizable amount

Definitely not worth it at full retail, but at $200, it's a steal. If you're not tremendously tall, you can get an IKEA LAGKAPTEN or a tabletop/countertop of your choice and come in under $300 for a full standing desk setup.

It's a good sturdy desk but mine came damaged from one corner. I could return it but I need it for emergency. But overall I do suggest you to buy it.

After seeing and reading much more this mostly american focused sub, I could do with a couple of fellow Brits or otherwise knowledgeable others chiming in.

Usage: For productivity / gaming desktop usage, needing to be sized 120x60cm which is a good common size I have found. Lifting capacity is not so important as I won't be placing my main computer on the desk, and all the options seem to be from about 100+ kg. Otherwise pretty open to options, but would prefer the maximum range of motion to really dial in a sweet spot. Table top thickness is preferred to be on the chunky size to allow monitor and mic arms to attach and support the weight with no problem.

Two main contenders that caught my eye were the Flexispot E7 and the Fully Jarvis.

- Flexispot E7: Cheaper by some margin compared to the Jarvis. The E7 is usually referred to as the most stable desk of the Flexispot lineup. Main thing that draws me other than the price, is the customizable options and their upselling of things like the drawers which I can easily see myself using. You can buy the frame only at 350 or order a top included at 430 
- Fully Jarvis: Solid frame and seems to be popular on this sub and in general. I think they have increased prices considerable recently? As I have seen people mention them at a starting price of roughly 600 top included. For my spec including the 3frame legs and programmable controls, the desk is 795. As such the difference between the two is considerable at 365. 

As both are available as frames only, I could easily order the Jarvis w/ 3 frame legs and programmable controls at 575 and then get a LAGKAPTEN top from ikea delivered at 35, making the true cost difference between the two then be 610 - 385 = 225 more for the Jarvis.

For those who have used either, is the Jarvis worth that increase in price over the E7 at that desk size?

- Maidesite S2: Right dimensions, dual motor design, good range of sizes too and affordable. On Amazon it's going for 220 with a voucher, and would be very tempted if others (especially vtubers) have shown how stable it is front to back. As it stands I have no idea... but it is a very good entry price and have no doubt it would be acceptable for vast majority of people.
- FLYTTA 2: Heard nothing but good things about the stability of the desk and overall. However it is very expensive usually around the 1000 mark - Would probably go justify the price increase if I had much more room to place one of their larger designs in the future.

Are there any other good UK options that I've missed?

Has anyone had any experience breaking into the controls and attaching the inputs to e.g. gpio pins to allow remote access to control the desk? This way you can 'throw away' the controls for a cleaner look underneath. Alternatively is there an desk out there offering this functionality? 

Monitor arms: I've been looking at the dual stacking option from Ergotron but is incredibly expensive at roughly 330 - 350. However it will take heavy monitors and you can easily buy another arm to attach a laptop stand, although would be expensive at another approx. ~150. Any other options in this market? Mainly thought about sticking with my tall pole that I have now, frustratingly, and instead buy a single laptop arm holder that are numerous and cheap on amazon.
