 I think the perfume was gifted, talented and quite brilliant. The price, it smells very expensive, it is a very long-lasting, it's an excellent phenomenal fragrance but I do think it's overpriced simply because of the raw materials chosen. I'm going to give it a 1 out of 2. I personally think this would be fantastic at about £150-160 I think that's where it should sit but the marketing interestingly this has pushed it higher in price to masquerade it as oud

 Now Oud comes from the Argood tree and the Argood tree is based around all sort of South East Asia. What happens is the tree becomes infected with a fungus and the tree produces an immune response which is a bit like a resin or a balsam and the resin and balsam is Oud and the more infected the tree becomes the more better quality the Oud is and you have lots of different types of Oud depending on where it comes from and some can be quite barnyardy and some can be quite sweet and floral. There really is just such a massive difference but they all have a signature note to them and they all smell slightly dirty slightly balsam slightly animalistic that is at the core of all Oud. Once you smelt real Oud it is unmistakable and you can't make it through aroma chemicals you can sort of get a nuance of it and but you cannot get real Oud and I'm not particularly interested in using Argood Oil and I'm personally not interested in using aroma chemicals masquerading as Oud

 It's been about 12 hours since I did the review, it's about 11 o'clock at night. I've had a chance to really give this a good dry down and come up with my final thoughts. In the dry down it's very very interesting what happens. It smells quite similar to kyros after about five, six, seven, eight hours and on the 12th hour this doesn't contain any oud but I think this is the best assimilation of aroma chemicals and essential oils masquerading as oud I've ever smelt

 The smokiness is from the glacwood and from the suede compounds so I'm going to go through my final marks with you. I think this technically is one of the best aroma chemical assimilations I've ever smelt actually for masquerading as natural so if I could go higher than four I absolutely would because I think the technical ability in this is probably the finest I've ever smelt and to trick me with an oud I think is really phenomenal and as I said it's taken between 8 and 12 hours for me to detect that it really doesn't have oud in it but it undoubtedly smells quite curiosity so technically I think it's overall I think it's absolutely phenomenal. I think the perfume was gifted, talented and quite brilliant. Follow Your Nose

 So this is a fragrance that was launched last year, 2018, and I specifically requested this fragrance to be sent to me for this review because even though I have no place here in the States near me in San Francisco to go preview this fragrance, it is currently being sold at Bergdorf Goodman's, but when I was in London, Selfridges, there was such a crowd around this fragrance, it was just very, very intriguing to me to find out why this fragrance has such a following. So as I said, I requested this fragrance for review purposes. The opinions are all my own. If you do end up winning the fragrance, you're going to receive a tester bottle like I received here

 The other thing I want to mention also is that there is no relationship between initial parfums and parfums de marly. The only relationship there is is their distributorship here in the States. They are distributed by the same folks. So what's Oud for Greatness all about? So for me, the fragrance starts off with lots of lavender and lots of saffron

 I can see why the crowds were big around this fragrance when I was at Selfridges, and one more time I'll say, I don't see this fragrance anywhere here near me, so I never experienced it until I saw it at Selfridges, and I was surprised to see so many people asking and looking and smelling at oud for greatness.  It smells like a cheap Middle Eastern oud to me. When I was broke I found this site called af fragrance and they did dupes for baccarat rouge extrait and it smelt exactly like this.

 It’s nothing else like it on the market I have smelled . Every dollar you spend on this is worth.

This scent will never grow old

 In the top you have lavender, saffron and nutmeg. In the heart we have natural Oof and natural agarwood oil as well. Then finally we have patchouli and some different must notes and chords in the base. Now this one has been in my collection for just under a month or so and so far I've been pretty pleased with it

 When I first heard the name for this one I was expecting Oof for Greatness to be the strong dark pungent really aggressive type of Oof fragrance but to my nose it's been nothing like that at all. I mean don't get me wrong when the first spray the Oof is there despite being listed as the heart of the fragrance it's definitely alive and present and I would say that the agarwood oil and Oof are the main players in Oof for Greatness. Despite it not being a strong aggressive in your face type of Oof it's still there and you can still smell it. It's very detectable

 Simply put to me this one is a spicy, resinous scent that is well balanced with the perfect blend of Oof, wood and that hint of sweetness. Oof for Greatness like many of the fragrances that I've tried from the Inishi Opafun's lineup has great performance especially in terms of longevity. Aside from my wearings I've sprayed this one on for testing and in preparation for this review and I've yet to be disappointed. Now Oof for Greatness has gotten me compliments especially for an Oof based fragrance but I don't want you to set out purchasing this one with the thought process that you're gonna get a ton of compliments

I could never claim it's a 10 outta 10. It's longevity is not perfect the sillage is less than optimal. Regardless of it being my favourite it's imperfect. 

Same could be said for every storm a serenade, amouage honor and most everything in my collection. 

 terre d'hermes vetiver is for me a 9. It lasts a solid 8 hours before becoming a skin scent. The sillage is perfect for its formal or office setting. 
Smell is so subjective but the reason it's not a ten is that it is super linear. 

Roja Elysium EDT. Sure it's an EDT but it still lasts 6-8 hours. It's super mass appealing, infact it's so good everyone seems to like it. Sillage is an amazing trail. 

I could go on about other fragrances or their subtleties but you get the idea. Despite smell being subjective what do you rate a 9 or 10?

 You have Inicio Parfum Prive and then on the bottom, you have a sticker with your badge code and I'll go ahead and waste a spray for you guys. So here we go. A couple sprays. Atomizer is okay
