I've owned this roomba 690 for a little more than 4 years and the battery can only last for 30 minutes now. I'm leaning towards replacing the battery only but I wonder if the roomba has also reached the end of its life cycle?. If it's better to get a new roomba, would a 694 suffice? Or should I get an i3?

Lastly, the Roomba 690 is noisy, though that's pretty much the case with just about every robot vacuum on the market.

I used to have a Roomba 690 which worked well with Homebridge, but it got disconnected at some point and I was never able to successfully retrieve the BLID/password after that. I also didn’t love how all of Homebridge would crash when the Roomba wasn't connecting (if the battery died, etc).

I'm having several mapping issues after one year of use, now out of warranty, and support is basically useless. Getting random errors about the robot not finding the base in the middle of a run. Also it keeps making the map worse every time creating random walls in the middle of a room or a lot of diagonals.

As above, we have a Roomba 690. Works great for what we need.
