The Jasmine S35 Acoustic was a very close runner-up to the Fender for Best Overall Kit. Both of these instrument kits include a stellar bundle of accessories and instructional DVDs, while the Jasmine kit has the bonus of a music book as well. We liked the Jasmine for its softer strings that make for smooth playing and are easier on your hands &#40;and thus more gratifying for new players&#41;. It's also a great-looking guitar that produced the loudest, boomiest sound of the bunch with a lovely, lasting resonance.
We found the pale wood, black trimmings, and matte finish on the Jasmine to be less aesthetically exciting than the wooden details and warmer, polished look of the Fender. We also found the sound to be slightly less balanced and a little more bass-heavy. However, it's worth keeping in mind that sound is very subjective, and this boomy tone might be what you like most about the Jasmine. This guitar's intonation across the fretboard was also not perfect, but it still sounded great for this price point.

 I'm happy with my purchase. The glue smell is also mostly gone after about 2-3 weeks.

Decent for the Price

 If you don't play, they just learn a couple of chords or a simple melody or just strum the strings open. If you can, take a friend that plays guitar or ask, one of the people at the shop users are happy to play a little bit for you. Don't worry too much about them pushing off a cheap guitar that you're just trying to get rid of on you. They want you to be happy

 The rosewood fretboard fingers easily and feels nice under the fingers. The chrome-plated tuners work well. They're easy to adjust the satin finish on the top and on the sides and back. Let's the would resonate naturally and it gives it a lighter and brighter sound than a full gloss coating

 The specs don't say so, but the neck is probably NATO too since that was the first use of this wood in the Asian guitar factories. It does have a full truss rod, however. Very easy to adjust up through here. Don't ever buy a guitar that does not have a truss rod in the neck

 This guitar is the quintessential beginner guitar. It has a spruce top not to be confused with a solid spruce top, but it's better than most plywood tops that you find in this price range. It's very vibrant and clear sounding. This, along with the dreadnought size, gives it that big guitar sound that again, you don't often get in guitars in this price range

 There is still some buzzing coming from what I think is the string pins but I am going to do the right thing and take it to it professional. Regardless, I learned a lot and hopefully it will come in handy some day.

I bought this guitar for my wife when she expressed an interest in learning how to play. As far as quality goes, I think this hits the mark well. I did notice a scuff on one of it's edges, which seems expected for how it was packed. I am actually surprised it wasn't more damaged as the box was covered in divots and it had virtually no padding

I am not a guitar person so I have no idea if this is a great unit or not

I have played guitars around the 300 price range that don't sound and feel as good as this one does. So for me personally I think this is a winner

 Oftentimes with cheaper guitars, you'll feel the sharp edges of the frets along the side of the neck. But not on this guitar. This feels really smooth. It's really comfortable to hold in your hands

 It's not loss. it's kind of a semi-gloss and you can kind of feel it, but almost to me feels like it's just kind of like a final pressing over a cheaper wood. which when you look inside it kind of looks that way as well. But you know I'm not an expert on the woods In all and all I can tell you is how it sounds, how it plays and how it stays in tune

 It looks great, it sounds great, it plays great, and overall it's great. It's even got a play, some straps, some cheap runs sometimes leave that out, but that's on here. and yeah, Jasmine s35 If you're in the market for a guitar, this is one. Go for it and I'll see you next time

 So I decided why not do one that's actually a really nice for not a whole heck of a lot of money. This is a Jasmine S35 let's get a better shot I Don't know how well you can see it from this angle, but this can tell you can pick up for around a hundred dollars depending where you look. I've seen some places sell for 90 even I bought this I think for a hundred and ten hundred and twenty maybe. but mine also came with a hard case and all the extras so it was worth a little extra money

 really. it's a great guitar for the price and you can't beat around $100 for an acoustic because most of the time when you're paying around $100 for a guitar, you get garbage. and when I played this I was blown away by it. I was buying it for my sister but she didn't end up playing it for very long and they're giving it back to me and all that kind of stuff

 I must be honest that I was skeptical at first with a guitar that costs only $99. I received the package in the next two days. One thing I can say so far is that I couldn't be happier. Jasmine S 35 totally changed my perspective that choosing the right guitar doesn't need to depend on the brand

  Shortly, It is an amazing guitar that would make you happy because of its price. I hope this review would at least help somebody who been thinking about it.
