 The system has four hundred and fifty watts of power and I'm not quite sure how that power is divided between the bar and the subwoofer, but regardless, however, they do it. It'S done very well because, as we'll talk about later, the sound that comes out of this is extremely loud. The wireless table has a tenant, Wolfer downward firing, and it is very deep and creates some amazing amount of bass. The sound bar itself does have quite a bit in the way of connections

 My final thoughts for the JBL bar three point: one first final thought is, I think I may have underestimated JBL and in my mind, up until a couple months ago, I really thought of them as more of an 80s or 90s company with you know back when Four speakers were the thing and I kind of forgot about JBL. Maybe I just didn't pay attention, but about a month ago you may have seen my review of the JBL link series they're smart speakers, bluetooth speakers and I was really blown away by just how good those were so when they sent me the bar 3.1. I was really curious to see if it would be just as surprising, and it really was so I don't know what JBL is doing differently these days, but whatever they're doing it's, it's the right thing, because they're making really great products, the bar 3

 You have the sound bar and the wireless subwoofer. You also have two power adapters, one for each speaker. You get a auxilary, cable, audio, cable, three-and-a-half millimeter and you get a HDMI cable which is kind of nice and I'll, explain later kind of how that comes. In handy and the last piece is, there are two small little cubes that you can use for mounting this to the wall and the way it works is it's essentially kind of a keyhole slot system and the slots are on the back of the sound bar

 You get 10 hours of use, but when you want a true surround sound, more cinematic effect, those speakers little speakers on each end, basically just unplug them from the sound bar and then you can position those wherever you want in the background, so that you really do Get a full surround sound, not just a kind of a simulated surround system and the 5.1 retails for believe $ 6.99. So again, you've got anything from 150 all the way up to almost $ 700, so plenty of options and I'm sure, whichever one you choose you'll be happy with

JBL Bar 3.1 - Full Review

First I tried the LG SL7Y - returned because of the crappy sub, it really lacked any bass punch. Then I tried the JBL Bar 3.1 - returned because, while it had great bass, it literally had no mid-range to speak of, everything sounded tinny and boomy - it was a real THUMPER but had ZERO mid-range.

I'm looking at buying either a Denon Home Sound Bar 550, or a Denon HEOS Bar, or another alternative that might be better somewhere around the price range of the Denons. Quality of listening music is at least as important as the quality of movie/TV sounds, for me. Does anyone here have some advise, or tips regarding other options? Thanks in advance!

Tips on which soundbar to choose?

Barely any mid-range at all. The settings for "movie", "music", "voice", etc. - all they are is EQ settings, nothing more. You can't fix the lack of mid-range

Considering the price, if you aren't picky, the unit sounds good for the price. If you are expecting high quality audio, go elsewhere. TBH, my ~10 year old $250 Bose computer speakers sound slightly better than this. But they are wired and use a puck to control the volume so it was a no-go for my entertainment center

It's wireless, and can be moved around the room. The plain black appearance makes it easy to blend into any room. It can get really loud if you want it to.

 For the money you can't go wrong. Anyone who gives it 5 stars either hasn't owned a stereo system before, or aren't able to discern one brand from another. It sounds good, but not 5 stars great.

Decent sound, but lacks midrange

 Inside the soundbars. Forty inch wide cabinet, you get six two and a quarter inch racetrack drivers and three one and a quarter inch tweeters. Bass is supplied through a 10” driver in the subwoofer. Vocals, come through nicely with a dedicated center channel and the left and right channels cover the Rest of the mids and highs adequately for a setup that’s around five hundred dollars

. This is gon na, be a great solution for someone. Who’S got a lot of AV sources, but may not have enough connections on their TV.

 Bass was substantial, as it should be with the power this sub gets and gives you some great bottom end for those big booms and explosions, and it makes your music listening experience more enjoyable, too. Here’S a sound test, so you can get an idea of what I’m talking about And to go along with the great sound. You also get a bunch of inputs. There’s, three HDMI ins and an out with ARC an analog optical and USB input along with bluetooth

 Bass is supplied through a 10” driver in the subwoofer. Vocals, come through nicely with a dedicated center channel and the left and right channels cover the Rest of the mids and highs adequately for a setup that’s around five hundred dollars. JBL Bar 3.1 Soundbar Review With Sound Demo

I just got myself a 65" LG cx TV and about to make to make good deal on a Sony ht-x8500 soundbar for 150€. Is the audio improvement worth it?

I thought for a time that the sub-woofer didn't sync up correctly and that was causing the imbalance. But that turned out not to be the case. The sub works just fine when something is exploding on screen, but all of the midrange of the sound is missing. Speech sounds sharp and high, with no body or fullness

 Watching scenes from Infinity War almost knocked pictures off the wall. But even during action scenes, there's no balance to richness to the sound. You have deep, intense bass and extremely high and glass-like treble. No mid-range frequencies, none

 It simply sounded as if I'd added a sub-woofer to my flat and inadequate TV speakers. There was no collusion or harmony between the two ends of the spectrum.

Taking Crazy Pills - What a disappointment

 6 2.3 inch drivers and 3 1.3 inch. Tweeters for a complete of 450 watts of power in total, both the sound bar and sub provide 450 watts of power, which are quite enough for this category in pricing, but is powerful enough to deliver an honest acoustic result

 An LED display shines through the metallic speaker, grille. That covers the front and top faces of the speaker and in large letters, tells you what sound source you're taking note of behind the grill there's a powerful array of drivers. 6 2.3 inch drivers and 3 1

 Cable connects to the rear panel, where there is a pairing button to attach it with the sound bar. This process is meant to be automatic, but we had to pair them manually, employing a sequence of button presses on the remote. This process is detailed within the manual for our movie testing. We chose movie mode and set the base at level 15 as a start line

 We'Ll see this a touch further down in our testing section, sound quality for movies as room-filling and bass is accurate, as many of us complained in many forums about Middies muddled, it's somewhat true, even with a fanatical center channel, it isn't as clear as I might like, But don't look reading that it is better than the other sound bar. This observation is predicated on a true 5.1 home theater setup, auditioned other sony, samsung sound bars, also poke magnify mini and max JBL bar 3.1 outperforms, all yamaha yas 207 comes close, but the bass and movie lovers would love JBL the bass within the JBL bar 3

Looking for a good soundbar and subwoofer

 That of which, this 3.1 is better than a 2.1. The adjustable bass of the wireless woofer at the back of the room deepens the trebles coming from the front

 The voices are crisp and clear without being overpowered by the booming background music and explosive tones. We were thrilled with that, and is due to the center channel isolating the voices from the other three. That of which, this 3.1 is better than a 2

Excellent sound and quality

 I ended up plugging the firestick directly to the TV and using an optical cable to send sound from the TV to the bar with no issues.

Sound on the whole is pretty good but i have yet to find a sound bar that delivers a full voice sound. The Sub-woofer, however, is absolutely fantastic. It could go toe to toe with my Polk 12" front facing sub-woofer.

My main complaint is that the Bluetooth connection is quite finicky and randomly loses signal for milliseconds at a time, which is just enough for you to want to pull your hair out.
