Relatively easy to mount and remove once you have the brackets in the correct location. May require drilling new holes. Cover the old ones with tape to keep water and bugs out. Not sure I have 100% faith in the locks and front latch so I use a ratchet strap around the whole thing (front to rear) including the luggage rack bars

 I truly recommend it. Just make sure your car has the crossbars if not order them in advance. Loads of room and didn't budget speeds of 70 plus. It took me about 15 minutes to mount in 95 degrees south Louisiana heat on May 31, 2019
