The Kaenon Burnet Mid sunglasses can truly do it all, and they're our favorite lenses to wear. We've tested both grey and brown lenses, and both are outstanding. They offer top-notch clarity, superb color rendition, and heightened contrast without distorting reality. They also manage to have almost zero back reflections, which is a seriously impressive feat. The Mid-size we tested offers a secure fit on most average-sized heads, gripping comfortably with a protective, face-hugging wrap. If you've got a larger head, the Burnet also comes in an XL version. 
The worst thing we can say about these glasses is that their rectangular lenses look a bit sporty. Yet, they're still not the most sporty-looking shades we tested, and our panel of testers all liked the look of these. They're also on the expensive end of the spectrum, but that extra dough does buy you a really great pair of shades.

 It is in between obviously our original Burnett, which this was really the staple for Kanan, as Tyler mentioned, and it put Canaan on the map and two years ago we we needed a bigger frame. Knowing Burnett was a staple for us. We launched Burnett XL and you know fit great on people with a bigger face, but we know we needed something in between so launching in 215. We'Re gon na be launching the Burnett mid because there's a really big gap between these two

 So we've bridged the gap right. Yes, now we have to burn that mid. That will fit most faces. So that's pretty cool

Lens quality and frame material comfort is outstanding, as expected from Kaenon, but it wasn't a good fit for the shape my face. I was also sent the wrong color combo as was stated in item post..

 The Kaenons on the other hand are lighter, fit my face better, and I just sort of prefer their vibe, coverage and feel, so usually reach for them in casual situations. I have 2 other Kaenon's, with C12 and C50 lenses. I highly recommend Kaenon for the lenses, construction, sporty aesthetics comfort & functionality.

 The Ultra Gray though is in a hybrid category of color or contrast enhanced gray. While it does not shift the spectrum like contrast lenses, it does claim to increase contrast and color separation by fine tuning the light filtering pigments, similarly to Maui Jim's gray lens. Both lenses really make colors pop, increase acuity and vividness without imposing a dramatic hue shift. They are ideal for brighter conditions, but they don't reduce overall light too drastically

This review is for the Carbon Matte Grip, Ultra Grey 12 Pacific Blue Mirror. Traditionally, there are gray lenses which simply reduce light without altering colors, and contrast lenses which boost yellows, browns and reds. Compared to the Mauis, the Kaenon (on the right in the last 2 photos) have a warmer brownish hue, while the Mauis (on the left) have more of a violet color. Both are fantastic, but slightly different as you can see

Great glasses. How does it compare to Maui Jim?

They work great for fishing and the design is really nice

etc. These by far have the best color and definition. It takes the edge off the sun light but doesn’t darken things up too much.
