I know you can’t get rid of pores but I’m wondering is there anyway to make them smaller? I use La Roche Posay products. They keep my acne mostly at bay but I feel like my pores are just so large. Part of it is genetic, but just wondering if there’s anything else I can do at home to help. Thanks!

After a few uses, however, a VERY few uses (2), the knife edge seemed to be as dull as the back of the knife and without any way of sharpening to the desired 16 degree angle (my fault for this,I should have taken this into account before ordering) my 22 degree sharpening tools did not seem to achieve the same level of sharpness. But the knife seems to be well made and I would enjoy using it if it was sharp enough to cut things.

 There really is nothing special about this guy, and probably should be purchased for functionality alone. The handle leaves a lot to be desired, it's not the WA style, I like that, it just seems sort of cheap and a little bland.

Not bad, although I'm not in love with the handle.

This is a solid knife, however, the handle is made of cheap plastic which makes the whole product feel cheap.

Sharp knife but lackluster quality

I am very pleased with the quality if the knife however the blades on both knives I purchased were blemished.

excellent value for money but one fault

PLEASE be aware that this is a Japanese single-bevel knife, meaning the cutting edge is not a 50/50 "V-shape". It is ground ONLY on one side at 15º. If you run this knife through a regular knife sharpener you will dull and basically end up destroying the knife. You must use a stone by hand or another type of sharpener that will hold the knife at the correct angle on the correct side

I like this knife and have a few other Wasabi series ...

I work in a busy production kitchen in major West Coast city. I need a strong knife to get me through 50 hours of cutting vegetables each week, oftrn consisting of brunoise or julienned cuts of large portions (gallons). Being that I am not making a lot of money at my job and just need a simple workhorse knife to get me through the day, I picked up this nakiri style knife from Kai/Wasabi.

 Good steel. You can pay (a lot) more and get less of a knife. I dinged it one star for the handle but it would cost a bit more to improve on it.
