 This in league with other pedals to push its function and assist / shape the tone of other pedals makes it acceptable. 3. Also it proved compatible / friendly with all my other effects even if having to shift it's pecking-order. Otherwise, I would have returned it the same day I got it

Fair sustain. Stands weak on it's own. Good adjunct with other pedals via tone capabilities.

 Now this helps keep humbuckers which typically have more output than single coils from being overly squashed or dull sounding. I'm playing a PRS 513 through a Fender Tweed Twin. Now this guitar works out great for this because it has good single coil and humbucking sounds plus the pickups are fairly high output. That usually makes compressors overreact but not the compressor plus

I've had two JHS Pulp N Peel v4 pedals and both pick up / amplify radio signals. I've isolated the issue to the pedal itself, ordered a replacement, and had the same issue. I love the compressor itself, but can't get over the annoyance of clearly audible late-night political chatter coming through my amp.

I'm a fan of EQD pedals and am thinking about the Warden, but they do seem to overcomplicate things, and the Warden seems to be par for the course. The Walrus Deep 6 looks / sounds nice. I have also heard that the Keeley Compressor is popular.

I'm fairly new to pedals and would appreciate any advice!

Looking for a Compressor Suggestion

I've used a Boss CS-3 in my acoustic set up (for lead work over looped chords) for years. Based on the beaming reviews I bought this compressor thinking it was going to be great. I used it for about an hour and then I switched back to my old CS-3. The Keeley doesn't even hold a candle to the old standby
