 I really dug the Ecos delay and looper this is a fun creative powerhouse tool really really great and Keeley makes all kinds of terrific pedals they've been at it so long. One of the original boutique pedal manufacturers they just do it right.  Now one neat thing about the pedal is that you hold down the tap button and it's going to kick the feedback up to kind of like infinite feedback and start oscillating really quickly. If you do that with a really really short delay time the pedal kind of screams at you and that's what you heard me do at the beginning of the track as well as at the end of the track so let's check that out. So it works really really well as a mod pedal as a flanger and with the added benefit of being able to get those crazy kind of screaming sounds that's pretty cool in a flanger I think and kind of unique. So using the unit for sort of more typical echo style effects and tape delay echo style sounds you've got the tap button there with different subdivisions actually so you can get quarter notes you can get dotted eighths, you can get eighth notes all kinds of subdivisions

 Crank up the feedback and you can get that delay to oscillate and depending on how you got that control set for darker or brighter delay tones you can get some wildly different sounds. Now if you set the delay time super short and set the feedback really low you can also use this pedal just as a flanger which I did actually for the first part in the song at the beginning of the video and for the last part as well and on that last part I actually really got almost like a seasick style flange going and I really liked actually just the mod tone not even using it as an echo but using it as a flanger.  The true stereo in and out are great and the ping-pong mode (enabled only when using both outputs) is just a delight.

 So check this out Okay That was really cool I've never done that in my life before double tap goes into half speed and now the whole beat change right there I was able to layer some live loops on top of it. Let's hit it again and let's hit the Hold it down, ready. Now I was holding that button down with my right hand So I had to figure out a way to play with my left hand, but you got the picture there Really cool. Really cool

 I'm on my Fender Player Series Stratocaster I'll hit this button right here. So this is the on off You can see that first light right there is lit blue if I hit that once it turns it off which does a true bypass so So here's the clean sound. I've got a 65 deluxe model on my GTX amp I've got some reverb just to add a bit of You know a good clean reverb right there, but no delay. So there's nothing else on it So this is the true bypass if I hit it again You can see the delay comes in from the echoes right there again bypass Bring it back in Okay, so I'll probably be on my fourth pickup position here just because it doesn't have hum, but I'll switch over to The neck pickup on my Strat Periodically, so again, you just saw right there how easy it was just a single click to bypass now if I Double tap you can see I've got one two, three preset So what's cool is you do have some presets on this if I double tap That red light starts blinking by the way, it probably looks a little bit yellow on my camera, but that's a red light And now that I've double tapped it starts blinking

I've owned about seven different delays and a few loop stations, and this one owns them all. Again, Keeley created a product that is easy to use in the simplest modes, sounds amazing, and full of secrets and potential to unlock should you want to get knee-deep in all the features. Do not pass go, and just buy the darn thing.

Just, like the coolest delay and looper I've ever used

Everything can be easily controlled with your foot (the tappable middle knob is genius), switching between presets and looper/delay is really easy, and the build quality feels sturdy. It really feels like they thought of everything when designing this pedal. Between the awesome delay sound, the 4 presets + looper in a smaller footprint, and the price difference, the Eccos was the clear winner in my mind. Tons of features and a great value

And since I was so close to having everything I wanted I went ahead and ordered a Keeley Eccos so I could finish the board. Plumes: this is a great tube screamer-ish pedal. I've always had some kind of TS pedal on my board (my first pedal ever was a digitech bad monkey) and I love to use it as a tone shaper/boost to push myself out into the mix for solos.
