 It just looks so gorgeous And this is a small one So I did get the one ounce bottle and I am going to read the main accords to you guys for this fragrance The main accords are rose vanilla caramel sweet floral and powdery So the top notes for this fragrance are grass or grassy rose I think it's grass rose rose turkish rose The middle notes are caramel and popcorn and the base note is vanilla Let's take it back to the original Edo fragrance if you're new to my channel or maybe you've never heard me talk about the Edo fragrance The Edo fragrance for me is one of the prettiest flirty girly Shampooy type of fragrances that I have ever smelled but unfortunately the original Edo Every single time that I tried to wear that fragrance. I got a headache I think that the bottle that I had of that one I think I gave it to my mom if i'm not mistaken But every single time it gave me a headache and it's not the scent itself because I actually loved the fragrance It's just something in that fragrance that always triggers a headache for me So I can't wear that one, but I still think that it's a beautiful fragrance And if you're looking for like a very feminine juicy floral Flirty type of scent that is a great one now When I tried the flankers for Edo there was aura Which I did not enjoy because I don't like that combination of vanilla and salt I don't know very very few fragrances work that have that salty accord in them Now the Edo intense is one of my favorite fragrances for date night for evening for the holiday season They did such a great job with that one. It lasts a long time on me It's like that type of scent that has rose and wood And patchouli and usually those notes always just they're too much for me They're too sharp. They did an amazing job on the intense version

 So this fragrance is definitely a hit for me I cannot wait to hear what you guys think about this fragrance the longevity is very long because I have worn this at night To test out the longevity and when I wake up in the morning It's still there and it smells even better like when it's been on for a really long time and it's mixed in with your skin And your clothes it's even better than when you first put it on So the longevity is amazing. The projection is amazing. The scent itself is really really nice So they did a very very good job with the nectar flanker of Edo That spray just gives it like an extra salty Sweetness, so if you do want a little bit more of like that popcorn vibe This is a great mist to go ahead and layer with this.  So give me one second I want to show you guys the Fragrance mist that I have been layering with this fragrance, which I'm not sure if this has been done before This fragrance is very popular because of that caramel and popcorn note, but I haven't seen anyone mention it But this was literally me looking at my perfume tray one night And then I looked at my fragrance mist and I was like these two would probably do so well together If you want to bring out more of that caramel side of the fragrance So I layered the lancome e doll nectar with the brazilian crush churrosa 71 And these two together Oh my god It's really really nice because this fragrance a lot of people say that this smells like popcorn I don't necessarily get popcorn. Like if I think about popcorn, I I can get it So I try not to think of it too much This to me is just like a salty but sweet sweet Caramely just like the sweetness that's just like oozing out and it just wraps around the rose of the Lancome fragrance i'm gonna spray some on top Oh and it just smells so good when you first do it like when you first spray it You have to kind of like let them mix in together. This body mist is strong On its own like it's very very thick and sweet But if you spray that and I wouldn't spray a lot of this either. I would just kind of like Spray the perfume on me and then I would kind of put it really far away and do one spray So that it kind of just covers up wherever I spray the perfume and it just gives this floral caramel salty sweet vibe to this fragrance that Makes me like it even more

LANCOME IDOLE NECTAR REVIEW | WAS THIS A HIT OR A MISS?

Lancome idole: I wasn't interested at all in that perfume but received a sample of it. I was surprised how much I liked that one (I usually would go for sweet and fruity perfumes). Didn't think I would like that powdery floral smell :)

I've been testing quite a few samples lately. 

Many of the scents I tried more or less matched my expectations. But some were either much better or worse than expected. Two recent examples:

**Parfums de Marly Layton** - I already own Pegasus, and assumed this would be a no-brainer from the way it's described. On testing, I found it to be a pleasant, harmless scent. Fruit accord with lavender, followed by typical vanilla/sandalwood that you've smelled a million times. 6/10, but not FB worthy.

**Xerjoff Erba Pura** The citrus quickly fades to this absolutely yummy musky and stewed-dried-fruit mix. Much, more greater than the sum of its parts. 8/10 (but not going to purchase yet).

What scents surprised you in a good or bad way?

 This is very much still a rose perfume as the Lancome Idole perfumes are. I think the one it's most similar to is the original. This is the original Idole eau de parfum. It has this cool star on

 And it's amazing for lasting. I've been trying it and I can really smell it on myself like all the time. Really good for lasting, really strong. You guys know I really wrote Lancome perfumes for their longevity

 It doesn't really have a fresh top note. You just go straight into the rose. Whereas the original, you get lots of fresh pear and then the rose starts coming through with the jasmine. So I think if you are a lover of rose, I always recommend the original, but this new nectar version is even more rosy

 Really good for lasting, really strong. You guys know I really wrote Lancome perfumes for their longevity. And this is no exception. It's definitely a really good for lasting rose

NEW LANCOME IDOLE NECTAR PERFUME REVIEW | Soki London

Today is Lancome Idole. I realized I haven't worn it in over a year! It was a gift from my mom and at first I hated it because I hate rose. But lately I have been craving a soapy rose, clean floral scent and this fits the bill.

It's my day off and I'm trying to get in as much relaxation as possible, so I'm currently soaking in a dreamy cloud of Midnight Fleur by Nest.

 All right, so the caramel and the popcorn notes are the ones that really stood out to me the most, but does it really smell like caramel and popcorn? If you try really hard to picture caramel and popcorn, then yes you can, you know, maybe get some of that in the scent, but actually I tested this one before knowing the notes, and the imagery that I got from this one in the opening is a sweet fruit bowl that's drizzled with honey or caramel on top. So I definitely get that texture of honey or nectar or caramel, but instead of a bowl of popcorn, I was thinking a bowl of fruit, and there aren't any fruit notes in here, but that's what I pictured. Okay, so yeah, the opening is very nice. It's my favorite part of this scent, but as this one goes into the mid, this one turns into a very rosy warm perfume

 It has like this harsh bite to it that didn't really work well on my skin in particular, but yeah it's mostly a warm, rose, sweet, sticky, syrupy scent with the musk. So in the dry down of Lancome Idole Nectar, that musk is the most prominent note. So it's a harsh, heavy, strong musk, and then behind that we have a nice vanilla sweetness that is still warm, still warm and cozy. Not as sweet as it was in the opening, but still quite sweet, but yeah that musk really did like overwhelm me in the dry down

 Okay, so yeah, the opening is very nice. It's my favorite part of this scent, but as this one goes into the mid, this one turns into a very rosy warm perfume. I still get that syrupy honey caramel texture in it, but I also get a lot of musk here, and the musk that I smell in here is very familiar. It's the musk that I smell in a lot of other women's designer perfumes, and to me the musk is kind of screechy

 This is a beautiful salty vanilla rose fragrance. So imagine the base of this one. So you have this musky rose, but the vanilla here is really amped up and then it has a little bit of this salt. Mmm, it's so, so beautiful

 And I would recommend this one for those who prefer jasmine to rose, because to me, yeah, it's definitely the jasmine here. And it has a woody base, which you get in the very dry down. And actually this woody base is what makes this fragrance last longer. And although it's an intense version, so you would think this is a fragrance that's like more of a cold weather version of Idole, I would say this one you can wear all year round, no problem
